WOW. Race Day. I hope today would not end as late as yesterday.The morning was a bit quiet since the Formula One Race would be in the afternoon. However, there were three Support Races before that. The spectators just trickled in, and not a lot of them in the morning. I ended up spending my mornin

I was expecting things to change in Day Three. Normally drivers would push their cars to the limit to get the best grid's positions in the Qualifying Rounds.

In addition, Saturday was also the start of Celebrity Spotting. Today was no exception. I saw Michelle Yeoh (James Bond's heroine and a Malaysian) with her partner - the famous Jean Todt.

I can feel the excitement buzzing slowly. The people walked faster and the atmosphere seemed to be slightly electrified. 

At 10:00 a.m., the first car went to the track to signify the start of Practice Session 1 (P1). Round, round and round it goes. The engine noise was deafening. Normally I would bring a story book during these practices to kill the time, but this year I had totally forgotten

Well, I thought it was a great idea but had trouble remembering the names of all the songs mentioned! So from the video I compiled this list of the artists, the songs mentioned, a website where you could actually HEAR the song mentioned, and another site where you could read the lyrics.

Day One - 21.03.2013

As usual, there was nothing much activity in Day One. I was trying to familiarize with the system again. Thank God there was not much changes.

A few obligatory documents were published but since no "racing" a

1.  We say that somebody/something is between two or more clearly separate people or things. 

     We use among when somebody/something is in a group, a crowd or a mass of people or things, which we do not see separately.

     Compare:   

    - She was standing between Alice and Mary.

    - She was standing among a crowd of children.

    - Our house is between the wood, the river and the village.

    - His house is hidden among the trees.

English Club reminds me of a large International Airport. Many flights are ready to land, several are leaving at the same time. A few of us stick around and park our wings underneath the hangar's shelter while much needed repairs are being performed. The very best aircraft get displayed in a museum for all passengers to see while walking into the port at it's entrance.

The entire relationship between learners and a few of us so called teachers seems so similar at times.
