Tenses

When we report  things that people said in the past, we do not usually use the same tenses as they said. This is because the times are different.

Next week is Persian New Year, NOWRUZ :)

Persian start their new year when nature is born again in spring, and they celebrate it with nature.

Nowruz has many traditional customs just like starting new year everywhere.

Last year, I asked my friends in  BEST Group to write a blog about Nowruz and below was its result.

Let's read their words together:

Dear friends,

I wish you all a very happy women's day. Though I know there are still much things to do to improve women's life conditions in many countries, I wish you all  to have reasons to smile and to feel love around.

Big big hug to each one of you.

Manuela

For those who have commented on my photo of "Bath time but for who ?".   Thank you taking the time to view my photo.
The elephants at this reserve were very well looked after, no poking with the hook and the mahout was soft spoken and kind.
The elephants rested twice during the ride of 2 hours and each time the chair was removed.
The track for the elephant to walk was good, quiet, no steep or slippery slopes, as can be found elsewhere ( e.g. Ankor ).
I have visited other reserves and rehabilitation

Hi there,

I do not know much about computers. Before completing this blog, my finger mistakenly hit a button and what I had written was gone. but I will try to remember what I wrote. Ok, I was just saying I wanted to write something, but I did not know what to write about. Of course, it reminds me of, going to a certain place and you do not know the right way. That is the problem facing most of us nowadays. Basically, the present is built upon the past to form a future. In other words, we are bec

A few years ago, I adopted two freshly weaned puppies from the same litter. The particular breed of dog is known as a Labrador Retriever. In the US, we just call them Labs. They come in a variety of colors and are one of the most friendly, intelligent, interesting, and loyal K-9 companions (in my opinion) that a dog owner could ever have the pleasure of spending time with. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labrador_Retriever . I'll allow the link to give further explanation of the breed. While at the

Did your classroom ever speak with a classroom in another country?

Some teachers here in Saudi Arabia have tried this with English classes using Skype or similar video broadcasting services.  Geography or Social Studies students in the UK, Australia, South Africa or North America may like to Skype with your English class. We all can benefit from learning about other cultures.  Wars usually happen between strangers, not between friends.  As we meet people across the world, our friendships help to
