Wow dear my Sis Mitran,
Congratulation for the first step!!!!
You have already got over Shyness and begin to join in all lesson! That is wonderful!!
Happy learning and good luck to you my dear!! ^^
Hi Mitran,
Your English is quite well, congrats !
I applaud your self-confidence :))
Wow! Mitran! You've done it! I'm proud of you! Congratulations! You've done the most important step: the first step! Mitran, I guessed that you exaggerated the situation. Your command of English isn't so bad as you used to say. I understood everything you said. Of course, there're some mistakes in pronouncing words, but we all do them. That's why we're here to improve our pronunciation.
You're lucky, Mitran, that you're just on time to practise the sounds that you fail to pronounce. These sounds are: /s/ mainly in the end of the words, and the sounds /θ/ and /ð/. A lot of people of different nationalities have problems with these sounds. So, now simply try to do all the audio assignments regularly and try to follow the steps in my blog "Some practical steps to acquire good pronunciation". And then everything will be ok.
By the way, I love your real name. I read some fairy-tale about a beautiful princess and her name was Thuong. Good luck!Hope to see you next time with your audio assignment.
ME
And...yayaya.....Yes. You heard my recording and wrote it exactly. lol...I thought, You must "guess" my mean/words, right Teacher?
hihihi...my dear Teacher, I come to the MOON (directly) with your comment. Thank you so much. You make me so happy. Yes, I know, I need to overcome "my fearfulness". I will join your lesson. I promised....
Hi, Mitran,
I could understand your English very well. I'll comment on it later. Thank you!
The following is what you are saying, arent' you?
"Good morning, everyone!
This is the first time I post my voice here. I am very shy now. Hope you all can understand what I am talking about. First, let me introduce about myself. My real name is ‘Thuong’. I’ll spell it… ‘t’ ‘h’ ‘u’ ‘o’ ‘n’ ‘g’. ‘Mitran’ is just my daughter’s name. I am married. I am thirty-six years old. I have two babies; one girl and one boy.
You know, I just want to thank teacher Galina and Gabriel. Hope I read their names correctly. They encouraged me but till now I’m not self-confident about my English. So, I didn’t join their lessons. I feel very sorry about that. This time I just want to test my speaking. Ok! Enough for today. See you next time. Have a nice day! Bye-bye!"
