Yummy! This is the first thing comes in mind when you experience this dessert made out of love and effort (literally!), you would thought that I’m just babbling or I’m in the mood to pretend to be poetic when writing this, but no! I’m not saying that you’ll go through a mouth-watering imagination (more than that!) as I walk you through how to prepare and how to eat this (hey, there’s an etiquette when it comes to desserts...kidding), alright, as much as possible I’m trying to prevent excessive i

Power of Music: Desirable or Scaring

2347341920?profile=originalI've decided to write this blog after Mary's "Hallelujah" in Sing a Song group. She posted her discussion dedicated to Leonard Cohen who died last week. I believe that most of you have heard this song. It sounds in "Shrek" animation and has been sung by so many famous singers and arranged by so many composers. The question is why? Some melody influences us so much that we can't forget it. We hear it even sleeping and when we wake up we still going on singing it. We can't get rid of it. It means

Your Success Depends Only on You

My name is Peggy Fuentes and I’m 34. I live in Norway, in Bergen. I am married and have two beautiful kids Lina and Tobish. My mother always tells me that a family is the most important thing in our life. It’s really so. I tried to devote all my time to my husband and children. Unfortunately, I have forgotten to take care of myself. I did all housework. I was always busy with something. When my kids went to school, I realized that I felt lonely and wanted to change something. I was a housewife a

Hello Guys,

Reference to Robbie's writing challenge, I would like to introduce you very simple and modest two recipes from my cuisine "Syrian Damascusian Cuisine".

The recipes that I am going to introduce today are regarded as very modest and traditional i.e. you can't find them in restaurants. Only simple families prepare this kinda food in Damascus..

I wonder first if you are familiar with using crushed wheat in your cuisines. This is how crushed wheat looks. And it is regarded as a substitute

http://www.lifehack.org/426221/what-a-typical-day-is-like-for-introverts2347341911?profile=originalI was always cycling or jogging with my husband and my father but sadly they are too busy because they always pray at At-taqwa, the famous mosque in our city.

My husband is an extrovert, while I'm introvert. I have many friends since I was a child. My family thought I was a shy and quiet girl, while I hided my real characters haha.

So how do you know if you are extrovert or introvert? There's also a mix of them -- ambivert. Wh

Not be a slave of others

Hi all,

Most of the turbulence or worries in our mind is triggered from outside, It is not created by our own.

For example, One of your friend bought a new car today, and you don't have a car. Today I am sure, 90% of peoples mind will be upset.

See details of this case. You don't have a car for a long time or you never had a car any time. These many days you didn't think about it or you never had a problem. You need a car to show others that you too have a car- that is creating problem. Just ego

I wrote a blog on my facebook last year when Paris was attacked by ISIS.  I thought I would share it today.  Hate is a terrible word and unfortunately I see it in every nationality it is no respecter of persons it would seem.  I would hope to never be guilty of such an emotion.  I am from the dreaded USA as many know.  As I have said time and time again......do not be ignorant, for the USA is the least of most peoples worries.  But anyway this is my opinion on extremism and how it could very wel

The Bites Of A Viper

Last Saturday, on 5th November 2016, I took another event to challenge myself. It was a 20km trail with 20 obstacles challenge called the Viper Challenge. Though I've entered a few trail runs and on the road runs, this is the first time that I ever tried an obstacle event. This event was also a team challenge, thus, I was quietly confident that we can go through all the obstacles with team effort though none of us had any experience participating in the event.

On the morning of the event, due to

I love you with two loves; the one is romantic and sweet, they other one is simply ... you deserve to be loved.
You always conquer me with your beautiful eyes. When I look at you then I can see how the moon is hiking on foot on earth.

Hello EC! as Luci (our blue-thinker… :)) asked fellow members to join her challenge, which for me is really positive, it’s a chance for us to see other folks life with a very particular topic-our hot beverages name it coffee, hot choco, tea, etc. etc. It’s my pleasure to impart you guys what makes me energize and feel refresh (yes! Refreshing tho it’s hot!)… from morning up to late night, I never consider myself as addicted to any of those because I can drink 10 cups a day and I can also not dri

Chicken Stew with Coconut Milk

One of the popular traditional dishes in my country is the Chicken Stew or ‘Ginataang Manok’ in my local language. It’s basically chicken which is chopped in small pieces, and sauted in garlic, onions and ginger then boiled in water. It’s added with lots of ingredients such as raw (green one) papaya, monggo beans and malunggay (moringa) leaves - experts say they are an anti-cancer green-leafy vegetable. The dish wouldn’t be complete without the main ingredient - the

Hey, this December’s boy

Hey boy, I’m waiting for this December
Are you ready?
Come here, slowly and slowly
Step by step
I’m patient enough
But, please, be on time!
Don’t make me wait too long!
I’m afraid of the time when I’m not young
Not beautiful any more…
I’m so scared
Because of my youth
It does not last forever…
Please be on time, December boy!
And, at the very first sight
You will see,
The best of me
You will see,
How I burn myself and my love for you
You will see,
What our future looks like
And you will know,
We belong together…

2347339647?profile=originalMy dear friends! By now, I have been a member of EC for a little more than a year and I'd like to say you have become a part of my life. Every morning I wake up thinking about you: whose stories to correct, whose questions to answer, what else to propose you and not to forget to greet or congratulate you on the weekend or other special occasions. I don't know if you learned anything from me, but I do know that I have learned much from you. I am so happy to have such great experience! But now, I
