In its turn, new buidings are "lifted" by engineers almost overnight and the old ones are knocked down in seconds. But, if we stop to think about that "crazy" movement of our society in search of economic progress, we can notice that when demolishing an old building we may be destroying historical memories at the same time.

If you want to say something is certainly or definitely true, you use 'there is no doubt that'. You can say 'There is no doubt that your English has improved.'

You can also use 'without (any) doubt' ('absoulately certain') to emphasize that something is true, for example, 'MyEC is without doubt the best En

That is to ignore our courage. As a single man , we stood up and obliged him to resign and leave the country . Lot of people died during this uprising. We are still waiting justice for our martyrs so that they rest in peace. We really discovered the dark side of compaore system after his departure.

The Sibyl of Cumae

Sibyl was a hauntingly beautiful girl from Cumae. She asked gods for as many years of life as grains of sand she could squeeze into her hand, but she forgot to ask for eternal life as well as eternal youth.

Gods granted her wish. The youthful days have passed and in came the excruciatingly painful years when she aged horrendously. Her pearly white teeth fell out;  her face was riddled by wrinkles. Her bones were dissolved and little by little, she became the size of a shriveled finger. Due to her

Creepy Clowns - fun or stupidity?

Jobless, single twenty four years old Dave from Manchester woke up with hangover as he was partying the whole previous night, better closed his eyes and started thinking… „What am I gonna do today? Just to roam with my mates, smoke weed? No, it is pretty boring. Ohhh, I almost forgot, my clown costume was delivered and it is waiting for me at the post office! Yeah, I will have some fun with it.!" Well, unfortunately there are many - sorry to say it - IDIOTS, who lately appeared wearing clown cos

Congrats for your challenge Luci.

Here is the original translation..."In a village of La Mancha, the name of which I have no desire to call to mind, there lived not long since one of those gentlemen that keep a lance in the lance-rack, an old buckler, a lean hack, and a greyhound for coursing..."
