This blog is in response to Barbare's (the Way to the Moon) blog on the same topic. She said she would love to read my answers to these questions. So, here are my answers. Some of the answers may sound like cliche.

1. What do you like most in this club?  Why?

There are many things I like about this club. But what I like the most is the freedom it gives its members to be anonymous and yet at the same time being able true to oneself.

2. If you have the chance to speak to Josef Essberger about the sta

I am idealistic and deeply sensitive. I'm imaginative and creative with endless possibilites and ideas, future-focused, independent, empathetic, selfless, values-oriented, meaningful.

I did envision my future when I was child, I really did know what I wanted to do and what I wanted to become.I wanted to be in the business life. I could imagine myself in the future, say, making career and successful woman.

Yes, I still hold that vision today. I did that only putting myself in other successful peopl

It was such a lovely day that I wanted to remember for the rest of my life. There was he with all his charms. And it was I who kept watching him.

The day we first met all he wanted to buy me was a  pink rose. But during that time it was not available. So It was a white jesmin that he handed me with a nice and innocent smile.

And then there was a ritzy restaurant  where he wanted to take me for supper. It was he who enchanted me by his talkativeness. Though later he told, it was I who spelled him o

A Journey With an Old Lady

  • A journey with an old lady

That was my first visit to USA.  I took Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong) Airline.  This airline have a short stopover at Bangkok.  There was an old lady sitting on a seat in one or two rows yonder of mine. She could not speak English, only her native and Urdu.  I heard her talking to her neighbor from which I understood that she was also going to USA to see her son.

The Bangkok stopover arrived and the passengers whose destination was Bangkok st

A STAR'S FAREWELL

I've always been more interested in music from the 50's, 60's or 70's than the music from my time. I'm a music lover and I love rock and pop music from back then; I think about it as the 'golden times' of popular music.

I can't remember when I listened to Bowie's music for the first time, but I remember to feel curious about how it was the Glam Rock in the '70's. And, of course, Bowie was the absolute King of that, so I guess that's why I looked for his music and art.

For me, the main message

It was my mother who said I should walk to my class that day when I started to take my scooter out. She thought I rode my scooter fast and was worried I might get into an accident.

It was Anju who said we should take the shortcut when we were coming back from our class. It was almost 8.30 p.m. We were walking down a deserted narrow lane. No one seemed to be around.

Suddenly Divya whispered to us, "I think someone is following us."

"What?!?" I panicked.

"Shhh...don't shout. Just walk fast," Divya s

The Goals

The grayish sky is bleak and low,

Merging with horizon and wiping out that line.

I’m toiling my way through the snow

Knee deep in silvery glistening  shrine.

A warming thought assists my tour:

I know that there is waiting for me

My goal, my dream of the hour-

A cup of strong and sweetened tea.

Afar from me among the trees

Grey beasts of prey, a team of four,

Tread lightly in each other’s steps

With gaze intent on gleaming snow.

They know not pity in the least.

Their goal – a deer with timid eyes-

Will soon be

Stranger's writing challenge

“Hurry up guys where are you?” I called out. I lagged behind my friends; they all participated in the challenge but I haven’t written anything yet. “what challenge” they asked. Stranger in the night asked us to write about a topic but we are not allowed to use all of you guys. “Oh why did you talk to a stranger; you know that you shouldn’t talk to strangers” they said. No no, he is not a stranger, actually this is his name; he is a nice guy from EC. They asked me if I had anything in my mind and

Ghost Paranoid

“You had ‘ghost paranoid’? You mean you was afraid of spirits of death people?” it was my professor who asked when we were talking in the library, waiting for our next class. I had approached him while sitting with his book, it was The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra that occupied him, what the!? My dumb sense was tingling, I must be on his level to understand such kind of book.  I asked him if we could discuss a bit about dificulties I had found on his subject. I forgot what it wa

Blog Challenge: It is/was...that(who) Cleft Sentences

I was not the one who parted away.  It was her who phoned me a few days ago that she was leaving me.  It was me who shocked to hear that no relationship now existed between me and her.  There remain only the ruins of memories.  How I was happy to meet her. She was the one who made me join the group of her friends. I was not the one to be  responsible that her close friend was attracted towards me.  It was me who never minded her talking with

This simple word; happiness, seems so easy to achieve. But talking from experience, it is not. Sometimes we forget to be happy, or just take 'happiness' for granted. Being into what I call the 'twilight years of my working life', I guess I'm contented with what I've achieved so far.

I may not be what I wanted to be, or what my childish dream wanted me to be, but you can't have everything what you wish for in life. I used to chase the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. In my hastiness in chas
