EXCELLENCE CAN BE CULTIVATED.

There is no doubt that a child is born with some instincts, inherited qualities and abilities hidden in him or her character. A child when born is like a blank page. What he would become depends what and how he learns and made to learn during his growth. It is, therefore, the responsibility of the parents and teachers to pass on the knowledge and wisdom in the new generation. If it is done in proper manner then there is no doubt that an able and useful generation cam

THE GLAMORIZED PROTRAY OF VIOLENCE BY MEDIA IS THE REASON OF INCREASE IN CRIME.

Attraction towards the thrill is in human instinct.  Thrill, when portrayed with glamour and heroism, puts deep impact on the human character and he is attracted to present himself in the same manner without realizing the difference between crime and heroism.  The violence presented in movies and other sorts of entertainment caused the increase in crime. There has been an umber of examples when the thieves and burglar

The major problem of today’s youth is directionlessness.

Success in life depends on the proper selection of profession and a clear vision of career. A wrongly chosen profession brings nothing but failure and hopelessness. This is the major problem which our youths facing today. There should be proper guidance from the parents and the teachers at the secondary level keeping in view the interest in particular fields and then create an aim to which a youth should reach and become a good asset of so

A lonely man

Man is lonely most of the time, which i just know now.

I liked to share my stories with others before and be nice to them, which I know I was lonely that time.

I used to think that i could find a man who knew me and could give me comfort when i was low, but nothing had i got though i paid a lot.

Now, I will count on myself, live with my mind, and accompany my friends and families. I dont want to expect anything from people but I will offer my help and love to them, because I know loneliness for mos

My 30th blog this month

This is my 30th blog this month, which means I've reached my goal for this month's writing challenge. Yes, I've never thought I can write so many blogs in a month. That's why we need to be challenged, inspired, encouraged or motivated.

I thank Tara for the June Blogathon

Every month Tara creates a writing challenge for us to write about. This month's challenge is different, though. She is actually motivating us to reach a goal or break a record - 580 blogs a month, which sounds so daunting and is

Blog weekend

It's Sunday today. We have a long weekend here - we don't have to work at/on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). So I should make the most of this weekend.

My goal is to write five blogs today. My goal for this month is to publish 30 blogs, though. I'm not sure if I can find time to write on a weekday, so why not try to write a few more blogs today.

In fact, I write most blogs on weekends since I have more spare time to write. I usually read and write blogs at night on weekdays (after work). I've enj

Every blog counts

You may have noticed that so many blogs have been published this month. Yes, we're trying to break a record - 580 blogs a month.

Our real goal is not just to break the record, though. We're challenge ourselves to write as many blogs as possible. It makes sense since we need more writing practice if we really want to improve. Such an intensive writing training can be so useful in sharpening our writing skills.

Yes, there are already a lot of blogs for the blogging challenge, which doesn't really

A dialogue between Husband and Wife

Wife: Stop watching television! I have to talk to you.
Husband: I'm listening to you.
Wife: No, I want you to turn it off and look at me.
Husband: Okay. It's off--I am looking at you. What's going on?
Wife: Did you see what the baby did? I told to watch her.
Husband: I didn't see. What happened?
Wife: Just look at this mess! She poured milk all over the floor.
Husband: I'm sorry. I was watching her, I promise. But I was also watching television at the same time. But n

Then, what's an idiom? An idiom is a group of words whose meaning is different from the meaning of the individual words.

There are a large number of idioms in English. Some of them are used more often than others. It can be a good idea to use some idioms in your writing. Sometimes only an idiom can convey what you really want to say, especially when you're desperate to hit the nail on the head

Idioms with 'wall' are just such useful idioms, such as 'drive/send somebody up the wall', 'climb the

Yes, It may sound as if we were cramming for an English test. We're trying to cram all of that in such a short peroid of time.

We've been so busy reading, writing like there's no tomorrow.  Never before has a month seen so many blogs published for a writing challenge. No wonder you may ask 'What are you doing here, guys?'

It may not just sound like an intensive training - it's actually one. We've learned a lot and improved so much both in writing and in reading, which proves that there's no such

A story from the memory of school days:

Haste Makes Waste:

A hunter had a faithful hound.  The hound always went with his master when he set out hunting.  The hunter had only one son, two whom the hound was also closed.

One day the hunter went to a nearby village for some running errands.  He left the hound at home to guard his son.  When he came back he found his hound standing at the gate.  His mouth was stained with blood.  The hunter got conscious, he thought that the hound had killed his only

I must be a little crazy

I've just kept blogging, reading, and commenting for the past tens of days. Yes, I must have bitten off more than I can chew:))

I must be a bit crazy - it seems whenever I have time, I come here to read, to blog, or to comment. I've never been so busy typing on the computer. Even my wife has noticed the change. She had no idea what really happened, but was so sure there must be something very unusual which made me do that like a nut, until I told her we were trying to break a record.

Maybe not ju

Running Errands

There was a marriage ceremony of one of our dealer's sons, which was held in Hyderabad. The dealer is one of our top dealers, for his turnover of our product is the highest. Therefore, representation of our company was a must, so I had been instructed to attend the ceremony. The ceremony was to start in the evening, but I had to reach the city in the morning because my boss also assigned some other work to take care of in the city at the same time. With the other work required to

I've published 23 blogs this month. I promised to publish at least two blogs when I first left a comment on Tara's June blogging challenge - I never thought I could publish so many blogs in a month.

Yes, it's the challenge that has inspired me to write so many blogs. Maybe everyone needs to be inspired or encouraged to make a difference. I still remember it was Josef, the founder, who invited me to join MyEC, and it's Tara, our admin, who has motivated me to try my best to help make MyEC a pleas

There are only a few days to go until the deadline. While we're sprinting to the finish line, some of our active members are still absent from this month's writing challenge, which is also dubbed as 'June Blogathon'.

We're bound to break the record (be it 460 or 580 blogs a month), statistically or actually. It is, however, a pity that some of our active members have failed to publish a blog for this month's blogging challenge. They may regret it when it's too late for them to post a blog for the
