When I went through my photos album, I smiled a lot and I turned through the pages many times. They captured special memories like, joining school, childhood and special celebrations. However, the one that made me laugh and stopped me was when I was a child and wore my wellington boots in rainy days. I remembered that I went late to school because I played in all the puddles on my way to school. I also remember my grandma always shouted at my mother because she allowed me to play outside in rain

Everybody needs different amounts of sleep. Some need more, some need less. But the average is around 8 hours
If you don't get your 8 hours one day, you may feel a bit tired, but you'll be OK. But it is true that if you consistently don't get enough sleep every night -- even one hour less every night, you can accumulate "sleep debt" over a two-week period (your body resets after two weeks) where you will feel extremely tired, sluggish, unfocused, etc
Mark Twain , the American humorist , was a man of many skills. He was once a steam boat pilot on his beloved Mississippi River. Later he became a newspaper reporter , editor, and a writer. His best and most popular works are " Tom Sawyer" and "Huckleberry Finn", set on the Mississippi River.
Everyone told funny stories about Twain's humorous encounters . He was a great lover of books and one story is connected with this love of his. One day he was in the library of a wealthy friend , a ne

Yes, the amazing, strenuous June Blogathon is over. It's time we waved goodbye to it. That doesn't mean you'll never talk about it, though. In fact, we need to reflect on or ponder over it.
Some members don't think it's a good idea to write so many blogs in such a short period of time. They felt overwhelmed, and didn't have time to enjoy or relish all the blogs, which sounds just like they bit off more than they can chew. They think quality is paramount, not quantity.
Some, however, have really
We did it! Our June goal was to beat the MyEC record for most blogs posted in a single month. With all of your help, we achieved this (and so much more). The last time I checked, we had published 625 blog posts, which is double our current monthly average. That just shows you how important it is to set goals, doesn't it?
I'm so proud of everyone who participated in the June Blogathon. Some of you set individual blogging goals, too. This really impressed me. I think we must always set goals for o
Mishaikh some parts of this text are not clear to me and I think it can be written in better way but I don’t know how. I just hope you give me some ideas. THANKS AND TAKE CARE (This was the request sent to me two years ago by one of my friends in Iran. Following is the re-written (by me) text which I modified for her. It is here for the interest of English learners. I am sure she won’t mind because at that time she was also a learner, now she has done her graduation.)

Love comes suddenly and fills you entirely. Right now you are afraid even to move, for fear that she decides to go if you make a slight movement. She is with you, it is never too hard - a few minutes; maximum ... but her presence is enough to make you happy. To love someone is like letting to prevail the mystery of sensing the warmth, the mystery of touch. But let her (your imagination) free, free to go, free to spread, because love in fact bring freedom of thought, freedom of even of imaginat
We've already crossed the finish line - we've smashed the record 580 blogs. We've set up a new record, and made history! That's incredible or unbelievable!
580 blogs a month seemed to be unobtainable or unreachable, but it turned out we mede it to more than 580 blogs. According to the statistics, we now even have reached more than 600. And, we still have one day to go until the end of this month.
Now, the hustle and bustle is subsiding. In fact, some members have started to summarize or reflect
I love to …Dance! I dance when I’m cooking, I dance when I am taking a shower, I dance when I’m teaching (and my preschoolers love it and so we all dance together!) I even dance when I’m watching TV (it’s my excuse for exercise) I dance whenever my arthritis knee would allow and so far it’s every day so I don’t complain.
I love my…black coffee…I take it…first thing in the morning…before my eyes are even open…keeps me sane during hectic days…my best break time buddy ever…does not whine, does not d
Oh God!
I do not know what I wants actually
I am losing my ways
I can not see clearly my ways,
Oh God! I know
You are watching everything
You are watching what I am doing and why.
You are there for me,
Oh God! You know
What I wants actually
What will be good for me
What will be better for me,
Oh God! Guide me
Where should I go
What should I do
What decision should I take,
Oh God! Show me
The right direction
The right path
The right decision.

Education, a brief account:
Education is the main medium on which depends the progress of intellect of an individual as well as a nation. This is the education which gets an individual out of ignorant…(ignorance is “what you don’t know”) and guide him to the right path…………the path of wisdom (wisdom is what “you do know”). Education is the only source of progress and constructive attitude in the human being. Education gives us knowledge of rules and regulation of political, social, economic, cultu
I guess, I was having BLOG PHOBIA or I was just being lazy to participate in June Blogathon. But we should never forget the proverb "Better late than never" and we should never underestimate our talent. We just need few words of motivation and we get started!
Walker had suggested members a topic "Myself". When I was at the mid of his blog, I didn't think to take it serious. But by the end of the blog I took his suggestion as a challenge. So here I am presenting/introducing you "MYSELF".

As part of the June Blog Challenge, Walker recommended that we write posts about ourselves. Here's my response:s
10 Random Things You Might Not Know About Me
1. I love to run! In the summer I try to jog for 30-40 minutes every other day. I don't run marathons or races, and I don't time myself. I'm not competitive at all when it comes to running. I run because it gives me energy and ideas. Some of the best ideas come to me while I'm jogging. In the winter I sometimes run around an indoor track insi
The Most Embarrassed Moments
It was a long time ago when I was looking for a job; one of my relatives asked me to visit his house to talk about this. He directed me how to reach his house. His house was situated in a locality of lower middle class where all the houses were on the road side. I reached the area and started to count down the houses to find the one where he lived. I saw a house which looked to me very similar as I was told. I at once raise the curtain and entered the house………………but

Hello All…
This is maybe my last blog this month. I’ve been reading a lot of wonderful blogs. They are so inspiring and giving courage. I am so grateful for this opportunity. I wasn’t very active, just wrote few blogs and dropped few comments but I do really enjoy my time here, believe me I didn’t leave any comments or clicked like because I was too amazed and exhausted to read it all. There were so many blog and I found the writers were sharing their experiences and thoughts. I should a
