For those who have commented on my photo of "Bath time but for who ?".   Thank you taking the time to view my photo.
The elephants at this reserve were very well looked after, no poking with the hook and the mahout was soft spoken and kind.
The elephants rested twice during the ride of 2 hours and each time the chair was removed.
The track for the elephant to walk was good, quiet, no steep or slippery slopes, as can be found elsewhere ( e.g. Ankor ).
I have visited other reserves and rehabilitation centers, some are terrible whilst others such as one in Malaysia, where the elephants are released in to an ever increasing area before total rehabilitation, and the offspring play naturally with you in the water, are a credit to those who care for these wonderful creatures.
Could I ask that people who wish to enjoy time with these animals are selective when deciding when and where to take a ride.
