This is my 20th blog for this month's writing challenge. I never published so many blogs in a month, though.

I'm so pleased that so many bloggers have participated in this month's blogging challenge, and so many blogs have been published this month - I myself have posted 20 blogs, not to mention Mishaikh and Seeker, who have published even more blogs. I'm so pride of you all.

As the blog moderator here, I don't think we published as many blogs in any other month. So, I'm sure we're bound to break

Anybody's guess

The idiom 'anybody's guess' means nobody knows.

Do you think it's now anybody's guess how many blogs will have been published by the end of this month? Do you think we can make it

We thought the record was 460 blogs a month, and now we think the record might be 580, which may sound so daunting or so unbelievable. In fact, our admin Tara is trying to make sure we know exactly what the record is. Maybe we have already broken the record, which also is anybody's guess.

We should keep writing, even

According to Tara's new statistics, the goal for 'Blog June' should have been 580 blogs rather than 460 blogs.

I'm curious to know what could be your response to it:

Do you think the record is too unbelievable to break?

Are you shocked or surprised or disappointed by the number? Or will the number deter you from moving on for the goal?

Or you may think the announcement or revelation is a bit too late?

Or you'll just shrug it off and keep blogging until the deadline?

I know our active members here hav

What's In a Number?

As many of you know, we are trying to reach the goal of posting 460 blog posts this June. I just noticed that we have posted 399 blog posts. That made me so happy! It also made me think about posting my next blog. I realized that if I wrote and published my next blog post really quickly, I would have the 400th post! But, that would be breaking one of my own secrets of blogging. I'm sure by the time I finish this post and put it aside for a little while, another blogger will have already posted #

Yes, 'conversational' means casual and informal. Colloquial words and expressions are informal too. You may have noticed the difference between formal style and conversational style.

You may sound informal as if you're just having a conversation or casual talk with someone. You're trying to convey your thoughts or opinion in an easy, conversational way, which may sound more natural and can be more persuasive or effective.

Yes, too informal or casual isn't a good idea. For example, if you use suc

Yes, the idiom 'bite off more than you can chew' means 'attempt to do something that's too difficult for you or that you don't have enough time to do'. It seems I've bitten off more than I can chew.

We're trying to reach our goal: 460 blogs for this month's 'Blog June' writing challenge, which means we need to write and read many more blogs than we did in any other month.

I promised to write at least two blogs when I first left a comment on Tara's 'Blog June' writing challenge, but I've publishe

Our goal is 460 blogs for this month. There are still several days to go, so we should keep writing or blogging until the last day of this month.

Our active members here have tried so hard to write as many blogs as possible for this month's writing challenge. Some of the members have already published more than 30 blogs this month, and they're still writing for the challenge. That's really something - I take my hat off to them!

Some of our members, however, may think they have run out of ideas or

We're still on target, which means we're quite likely to achieve our goal - 460 blogs for June. We'll try our best and keep blogging until the deadline.

We're not sure whether we can make it or not, though. It's now everybody's guess.  'Big deal', but, what really matters is whether you've really learned something from blogging.

I've learned a lot from this 'Blog June' writing challenge. I'll never give up before achieving a goal. I'll try my best whenever I'm trying to do something. You'll neve

Writing Challenge: Bloggers Unite

It's All About the Comments

This is a noteworthy feature if you're in the blogosphere. Who don't want to be read and assessed when writing a blog post? I suppose most of us keep this in mind. I  refer not only the grammatical assessment, but also the critical view of the blog's topic by other members. We need other pointviews in order to enrich or solidify our world view. For me a good blog is a blog with a bunch of comments.

Comments mean a post was read, understood and mainly was criticised,

A Letter for Bloggers, Commentators, and Readers

Dear all my MyEC friends,,

How are you today? Is everything okay? I hope you are fine and everything is going well. How is your day? Is there something special today? I hope it’s great and wonderful. If you had something special, I’d be glad if you don’t mind to share it here. Here I’m on my long holiday at my parent’s house, my hometown. It’s sure I have so much free time, so I can spend much time for MyEC. BUT, I don’t think so.

Remembering the mon

SURROUNDING

I am in my bedroom. At the moment, I am sitting on the chair of a computer table and facing computer. My computer table is set near a window. Outside the window, it gives me a view of houses, trees, streets spreading before me and seems to go yonder. The view starts from near to far diminishing the things gradually.  On my left there is the door of the washroom. On my right, my wardrobe is standing. On the left of my behind, I have dressing table while at the back there is my bed by

TONGUE

I’m a part of mouth. I’m the one which can make your mouth speaking. I can be defined as language. I spread information which means doing communication. The one who has me should be grateful. You could never miss a day without me. When you have me, but never use me, even just to talk to yourself, you need to go to a psychologist, I guess. Oh, keep trying to use it. :)

When you use me to speak, I can be sharper than knife, I can be softer than wool. I could lead someone become a rough person. I co

Hello, I want to put too a little stone in this month’s writing challenge so here is my personal point of view about blogs.

As English learner I should try for the best. As Elen I am a bit lazy with English :D. Tell me take the grammar and read or take the vocabulary and learn new words, it is for me a little torture. I don’t like to push myself to read when I don’t have any serious reason. I will not give exams, so I will not read. I like to learn but not with this way. I like to learn while I l

A PAGE FROM THE BOOK OF MY LIFE

I want to open another page of the book of my life. It is about SAHR. She was very sweet and simple girl. She was introduced to me by my niece to teach her.

There is not anything romantic in this story, but want to show you a different compressed characteristic personality (it is because of our typical society, I assume such things do not occur in European societies).

As I said that she was very simple, but the unusual thing with her was that she frequently asked me

Always try to be Happy

2347077851?profile=original

When you are sad, then don’t show the reaction of your sadness on others rather spent time with others by hiding sadness deep inside the heart. Just try to learn, how to hide the sadness from others, Your sadness can become the reason for someone hurts, so try to avoid showing reaction. Try to hide your sadness and tears from others and don’t show your condition on others and try to live happily in all conditions whether you are happy or sad.

If heart is crying then also try to decorate your face

What if there are no comments on your blog?

Usually, after publishing a blog, you'll see some comments on it. It's not always so true, though.

If your blog's title isn't so catching or inviting, other members may not be so interested in reading it, let alone leave a comment on it, even though you've really written something interesting. So, be careful that the title of your blog should be charming enough.

Sometimes other members did read your blog, but only found that they did not really understan

You may have noticed so many blogs have already been published so far this month. Yes, we're participating in this month's writing challenge - 460 blogs for this month (Tara's 'Blog June' challenge). So, no wonder you might be a little overwhelmed by all of the blogs published for June. I've already published 11 blogs this month, not to mention other active members, some of whom have published much more.

You may be accustomed to several blogs a month, so you may not think it's a good idea to pub

Edit Post

Have you noticed the 'Edit Post' option? You'll see it if you hit the 'Options' on a blog page.

Some people keep using the 'Edit Post' to re-edit their blogs, while some may even not notice it or never use it.

The 'Edit Post' feature can be so useful, especially when you want to re-edit a blog after someone else has helped correct you.  I've noticed some members here failed to re-edit their blog after other members have made some corrections for them. They may not have been so sure if the correct

How did I start blogging (writing)?

As I have told somewhere here in EC that I am in the habit of reading.  I do not have the interest to read any specific subject.  I read whatever is in my reach, even the scrap of paper I pick up from the floor to throw away.  This reading habit built a desire in me that I would write something, but what, I didn’t have any idea.  Once I happened to visit a shrine, it was/is situated on the beach.  I sat in a corner and looked at the crowds of the people men, wo

How blogging had changed my life

I wrote in MyEC page "MyEC taught me to love writing. It's the greatest gift ever given to me. Thank you MyEC." Before this, like I've mentioned countless time before, I don't like reading blogs, nor do I write any blogs. I still remember my first step in writing a blog. I have been fidgeting and fretting about it for a long time. But with the encouragement from my friend Grape, I posted my first blog, 'The Infamous Durian'. Thus, for any MyEC members who wants to
