My EC friend Tara Benwell introduced me to a very interesting link called Storybird. It's a fun way of storytelling. I find it very effective for young readers and learners. Thank you Tara!
For my first Storybird, "I Love Counting Balloons" I kept it simple just like child's play. I hope you like it, just like my granny kids Dwan and Eunice do. http://storybird.com/books/i-love-counting-balloons/
Happy reading!
Books. I could say it is my passion. Searching for stories on the internet I've found some of Oscar Wilde works. One of these days I was searching other things and found this piece:
there you can read and listen at the same time this work.
It's in WikiSource, so you musn't have problems with it.
Hope you can enjoy it!
Do you know what day it is on Sunday, 8th of May? It's Mother's Day.
It's the second Sunday of May and most countries honor mothers and motherhood. It is celebrated as Mother’s Day. Share us your stories about how it is celebrated in your country. This is a nice time to remember how we love our mother. And it is great to know how people from other countries express their love for their moms. To name a few of the countries that celebrate this special day on the second Sunday of May are Belgium
May, 9 - the great day in World's history.
It's Day of Great Victory over fascism.
Second World War is the most bloody war in the history of humanity. Sovit Union won a victory in this war, vanquished fascist Germany, but price of victory was more than twenty millions of human's lives. Other countries lost many millions people too! Let's remember about it and say together:
Down with all war!
We want no more.
May there always be sunshine!
May there always be blue skies!
May there always be mommy!

I've been a proud mom and always will be. Therefore, I wanted to write something about my son and my fulfillment about being his mother. I wanted to share the joy of my motherhood. But in the end, I found myself writing about someone else's children.
Last night, I came across a folder of photos containing my trip to Sri Lanka last September. Something pinched my heart while looking at them. How could have I easily forgotten about them - the children at the orphanages I visited? Here I am a
I am starting this post not because I am using commas exactly as it should be. Not at all! The reason is I am learning how to use them properly. In my case learning starts with considering. Being aware of my poor memory I try to grasp the logic of a thing or a process and so I can memorize what is vital.
Some people don't use punctuation. When they are beginners, this is quite understandable.
Though I notice people who use complex grammar yet still almost omit using commas and even periods and cap
Today, I asked a question in the OR (hospital's operating room). I hesitated to ask at first - what if I asked a stupid question? Would my Canadian counterparts look down on me because of a stupid question? But, the attending (a high ranking doctor) said, 'Good question! I know in Asia you don't...but in Canada we do...'.
So, here comes my question: What could be a 'stupid question'? Teachers usually want their students to ask questions. And, a question can be a good title for an article, or a go
MAN GOES FOR MANGOES
Khaliqur Rahman
Summer's delight, God's exquisite gift to Man, succulent with varied sweetnesses, Ghalib's favourite among fruits, you must have guessed what I am talking about. Yes, of course, if you are a connoisseur of good taste, you have.
Mangoes -- here's God's plenty -- are here again, of which one is never enough, neither are two. The truth is: enough is not enough -- at least for me. The mind -- and the body -- is always willing to go for one more, but I have to stop
EK SHE'R
Recently, I have seen <the big bang theory> ,a American drama.
I really love this drama and all the 'scientists' in it. Though, these scientists always call themselves nerd and express that they are pale, not handsome, not poplular for women......I just ignore those problems and think those are their own styles are different from normal person while are more special and cute.
But, today, I suddently recall some scenes of conversation between my friends with me many years ago, when I have been s

Better if you are living in the South hemisphere or near the Ecuator, but always marvelous a meteoroid shower above in the Sky. Halley's Comet tail. North viewers need to find the South so South viewers need to find the North.
