After a long day at work and with all the hustle and bustle of the day, I always  take time to relax with music, sorting out my thoughts. Today it was Queen’s “Too much love will kill you” that caught my attention. It is a song written by Queen guitarist Brian May, Frank Musker, and Elizabeth Lamers. It was released four years after Freddy Mercury's death.

On March 11, 2011, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck the Island of Honshu, Japan with its epicenter in the Sendai province.  This earthquake triggered a 12 meter high tsunami event along the eastern coast of Honshu.  The combined force of these two catastrophic events and further exacerbated by a continuous cycle of daily noticeable earthquakes that have measured between 4.5 and 7.1 in intensity as defined by the Richter scale has caused significant damage throughout the nation

Today in Ecuador we remember the birth of Juan Montalvo, one of our most famous writers. He was born in Ambato, place of birth of Juan León Mera, author of our anthem's lyrics, and also Juan Benigno Vela. All of them well known writers, reason for which Ambato is also known as "The cradle of the three Johns".  

In 1920, President Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno decreed this day as the day of the Ecuadorian Teacher.

We come up into defining love and defining time, and by defining them, we come up into realizing that, hmmm... yes, I love my family, my friends my colleagues, my pets, everything around me that God has given me and we say, Time? ohhh... time is important. At my first lecture on my first day at University I saw some girls from another group at the first desk next me. One of them was really beautiful.

One day I was standing in the corridor with my friend. When my group-mate introduced the girl to me and asked if I would help her to solve her tasks from Math. I said "sure if I can". As with other girls from the capital she spoke in Russian. I helped her to solve tasks in Math, Informatics and Physics, and she helped me improve my Russian and English.
