Noooo, it's not a kind of stange insect, neither the name of a rare disease that could affect our bodies. An Oxymoron is a combination of contradictory or incongruous words. It is a literary figure of speech in which opposite or cont

In our modern life, social evils are widespread, which poses a big threat to people. One evil that causes a big concern to the whole society is drug-taking, for the number of young addicts is increasing. In my opinion, there are three urgent actions which should be done to prevent young people from using drugs.

Firstly, it is necessary to create a good living environment for the young. In order to do that, parents should take care of their children so that they can feel the warm a

With satisfying the explosive demands from modern society, scientists and technicians make their all efforts for inventing or developing advanced technologies. In fact, countries need advanced productivity instead of backward productivity for accelabrating their society development. Netherless, as the backward productivity, manual traditional skills and the way of life die out. In view of this situation, we have to confront the issues, is it poitless to try and keep the traditional skills or is

Yesterday, on April 26, it was the 25th anniversary of  Chernobyl catastrophy. It seems to be the saddest anniversary in  mankind's history. Every year this day reminds me of the tragedy which can never be forgotten. About 500 thouthand people died the same year. Ukrainian population reduced from 52 to 47 million. Only in my family 3 people died due to cancer caused by radiation! I have always thought that other nations  should have learned from Chernobyl lessons! But this year the catastrophy

My Guest Blogger: Mr. Steve Kaufmann

Have you ever dreamed to be a polyglot? You may ask what polyglot means. Polyglot is a person who speaks so many languages, let's say four or five or even more. Mr. Steve Kaufmann is fluent in 10 languages. As such, I was eager to know how he could have learnt so many languages whereas I am still struggling to learn only English. Two minutes after I sent my E-mail requesting him to be my guest blogger, Mr.Kaufmann responded and kindly accepted my offer. You can read his blog here: http://theli

I decided to write this blog because twenty five years ago the world was witness maybe the worst nuclear disaster in its history. I don´t remember the accident (I was only five years old); the first time I heard about Chernobyl I was twelve, and four years later I read the book "Chernobyl: el fin del mito nuclear" by Santiago Vilanova.

2346188394?profile=originalThere are many stories, myths, rumors and truths behind the catastrophe, but the most important thing is to prevent another Chernobyl disaster.

Do you remember how

The Capital City At Night

As soon as I arrived in Iran, I was eager to see the capital city, Tehran. I wanted to see how it has changed. So many roads and highways are built that I barely remember how the streets looked like in the first place. I also went to see one of the National Parks, Chitgar, on the west side of Tehran. It was at 10 o'clock at night and a little bit cool. Despite the fact that it was very late, the park was really crowded. People were playing vollyball.

Then, I ate one of the very famous Iranian

Lately, I noticed that reading articles on the internet became of great help to improve my English. In this post I am going to share:

"It may not be the most beautiful of tongues, but in this day and age, it’s indispensable", - says Jean-Paul Nerriere. Nerriere is a retired French businessman, a retired vice-president of IBM in the United States, who made an interesting discovery.

Missing you at moon night

月夜思

别君在秋日, 今已冬时节.

适逢月圆夜, 独坐自品阅.

窗外霜如雪, 书中情似结.

欲知念君意, 问取楼头月.

You left in Autumn, and now it is winter.
Tonight the moon is round, sitting & reading alone here.
Frost out of window like snow, feeling in book as unfair.
To know if I miss you, please ask the moon open air.

The price of peace

Here is an oriental parable which I read in one Russian self-help book and tried to translate it for you. Hope you will like it.

One merchant and his servant were sailing together on the ship. It was servant's first trip in the sea. He was sitting on the deck of the ship, yelling, complaining and crying. They tried to calm him, but nothing helped. The doctor, who was on the same ship, wanted to heal him and offered his services. The merchant agreed. And then the doctor ordered the sailors to thro

Hi,

My dear friends,

I came back to my home country, Iran for vacation. I wanted to blog every day. However, the internet connection in my place is not so good and every hour, it gets disconnected. I took so many pictures and videos for you to show you how Iran is. Some people think Persians are Arabs and speak Arabic or they get confused when you say Iran. They usually think Iran and Iraq are the same.

First days of my arrival, I just tried to be adapted with new time. I took some pills. Fortun
