This is an Interview with my Lovely friend Nafis ,The persian goddess that takes my breath at the same time that makes me breathe deeper. :)Once I read a quote on the top of your page that said:”love many but trust few, always paddle your own canoe”. I appreciate it if you could answer some of my questions about it Nafis.1. Can you tell me about trust and how it relates to love?Yes,We can love many things, including people, our job, nature, animals and lots of other things. True love is to serve others without any attachment and egoism and this love is only one wave of a vast ocean. You can love many people and serve them but you can't trust all. Because do you trust the person who knocks at your door? Maybe he/she is a thief, or do you give a lot of money to someone at the street? We must love them but we can't give them some important things. This is different, i think this is two different subjects, but generally speaking, we should love all people and serve them. In this relation we don't need to trust anyone because we just serve them, but when it comes to your personal life, you should not trust all, I think it is not possible. Do you give your car to someone who you don't know at all? I won't do that.2. From what I conclude I understand that you do not trust people that you don’t know, And that to love someone you don’t need this knowledge about them. Is it possible to love without having a true source of knowledge within you?ohh no, I think the love that I am talking is different, as I said we should love all and this love to all means that to serve people without any attachment and egoism. for example if you are a doctor, you should love all people, in this part you don't need to trust anyone, your job is to love all your patients and serve them no matter what, but in some cases in life you should know one particular person very well so that you can trust them. It is not possible as I said do you give your wallet with all your identity cards to someone unknown at the street? I don't give my identity card to anybody. It doesn't mean that I don't love them, I love them as a human being, as seeing God through human being, I respect them as human being, but I don't trust them for keeping my personal belongings. This is what I’m trying to say.3. You said the love that you are talking about is a different one, Can you tell me what types of love exist? What makes them not to be a single truth? And which one is your favorite love? Why?Because I am not very spiritually developed so I see things through what I’m experiencing, so I am not so aware of what kind of love there is. But, I know from reading and in some part seeing in reality, we have different kinds of love, some people love money or love their job or someone may love his/her pet, on the other side we have some higher love that I mentioned above, love people without any attachment and egoism. But through my spiritual investigation and through some spiritual poem, there is a higher love which is beyond this last love that i mentioned. that love is the ocean, is the vast ocean, but I think we should practice so that we can reach that kind of love, this is not something that suddenly happens to everybody or everybody experience it, in our culture, we have only some people who experienced it like Rumi, Hafez, Khayyam, Ferdowsi and etc. so it must be practiced. I mean we should practice so that we reach it. The type of love depends on our level of consciousness, the more you are conscious the higher kind of love one has. This is only my conclusion through my personal investigation about spirituality.4. As I see there seems to be a relation between consciousness and love as you say, Can we also trust people more if we become more conscious? There is a slight point in trust issue. The point is when you love people it means you trust them somehow, it doesn't mean that you absolutely don’t trust, so you trust somehow but giving your personal identity to someone that you don't know at all is not possible. I mean in that part you can't trust someone totally. when someone become more conscious he/she love people, and trust somehow, I told before that when you don't give your wallet to someone doesn't mean that you don't love them or you don't trust them 100 percent. a healthy mind love and trust people and the trust somehow is not that you totally give your all properties to someone that you don't know at all, I think even it's not practical.5. What I understand is that the default view of our mind should be that All people do not deserve being trusted 100% and that’s not practical to trust people this way. So it is not possible "to have heaven on earth", is that so? Can you tell me your idea about it?No, I don't agree with this 100 %, I think having heaven on earth doesn't mean that we should trust people 100%. Do you give your identity card to someone that you don't know at all?__Well, in a heaven-like earth YES, I would give my wallet. :)No I’m talking about here, we are not still in heaven, we are trying to have heaven, but still we don't have__So, can't we have a heaven-like earth? We can have but right now we don't have, because do all people have the opportunity to read, to food to shelter? Heaven is like that? Some eat a lot and some don't eat at all? So we don't have heaven on earth right now but we are working on it so that we can have heaven on earth, it takes while, to have it, and we will have it when all people be awakened, but still we haven't reached it.__Considering this everlasting move towards that enlightenment-when people are all awakened and can also trust each other when they love one another, could you tell me what is the first step and what are the obstacles in this movement?Sure, which movement?__The everlasting movement towards enlightenment, when all people are awakened and can also trust each other when they love them. The first step for being enlightened?__YesThe first step is know yourself. And in my opinion .to know yourself is to know your thoughts. Everything begins from thoughts. When you know them you can know yourself too, then words become actions so you should know your actions too. There are no obstacles because you need all those obstacles to know yourself. Everything that happened to us that you mentioned them as an obstacle, in fact is necessary to develop our quality of thoughts, words and actions. So they may seem an obstacle but in fact you need them to understand who you really are .There is a famous saying that says: tough times pass but tough people remain.
Thanks a lot for reading the interview. In fact, I did nothing and Aali was great. He asked me great questions without having time for organizing the questions. It was a great experience for me. Thanks to my great friend dear Aali.
Hi Tara :)
And we also tried our best to keep the number of questions within the bound designated in the reference page for challenge #13.
Its really enjoyable to get into the creative writing challenges that you provide for us to work on.
Well,Nafis introduced a book named "The power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle to me.
Thanks for Introducing this other book.
I guess you and Nafis could both go to Vancouver and film the next interview there with him. :)
I am sure he will be interested to join EC and contribute to the writing challenges here too.
Have a great time Tara dear.

Hello
Dear Nadiyah
Thanks for your comment.
I like your inference after reading this post. the one that you say:"to know someone look at her thoughts"
I found this quote at the top of a web blog Here!
You might also find this one interesting.
Have a great time my friend. :)

Excellent writing Aali and Nafis. This topic is very "deep". I'm so happy that you both "got into" this challenge. Your contributions are so important. Some of the lower level learners will learn many words and expressions from your writing. Have you read Tolle's A New Earth?
The ultimate end of each single soul is to reach the quality of unconditional love, A love with no conditions, In my opinion trust is "the let go moment", when you are sure that you can live no matter what and you realize that life is beyond just thinking, just having and just making sure you are safe having all what you have. trust is a vulnerable turning point and the second you turn your whole being in that point you turn forever towards a life that will need no assurance to be stable, everlasting and fulfilling .In that vulnerable turning point you could decide to let go or to remain to see the illusions. If you let go and flow, life and death will become the banks of a river called love, in which you are to grow.
The interesting thing about this river is that you don’t need to know how to swim in it. You don’t even need to think about how you could survive in it. You don’t need to wear a life jacket called “trust” to be in it. You can breathe inside this river; the more you become submerged in it, the more you become conscious. this is not unconsciousness, this is super consciousness, and unconsciousness is the time when you think you need the “trust” lifejacket to dive in the river of love.
What Orafa are talking about in poems is not unconsciousness Zahra, It is super consciousness, it is when you go beyond mind and you love without thinking, without considering any conditions and without the need to wear the “trust” life jacket. I don’t know much about the story and the details of what Abraham and his son- Ishmael did, but I guess they might have been showing that they dare to let flow in love and they were sacrificing the trust together to let the whole world know that love does not need trust.
Thanks for your comment Zahra.
It would be great if you’d like to extend some parts of this Interview or add to its questions.
Thanks to my friend Nafis for accepting to participate in this interactive and simultaneous interview online and eloquently elaborating issues related to Love and trust.
