2346479956?profile=originalHave you heard of NaNoWriMo? This is the short form for National Novel Writing Month. Every November, at least 300,000 people try to write the first draft of a novel in just 30 days. To complete this personal challenge, NaNoWrimo participants have to write 50,000 words between November 1-30.

I've always wondered what it would be like to write a novel so quickly. My first novel took me ten years to outline, draft, revise (a million times), polish, edit, and publish! This year, since I'm feeling a

COCONUT PALM! TREE OF LIFE!

The coconut palm, Cocos nucifera, belongs to the family Arecaceae or some people call it the Palmae family. Actually, the fruit of this superlative palm is botanically defined as a drupe that consists of three outer most layers such as: exo-carp, meso-carp and endo-carp respectively. In the case of coconut (actually, the word “nut” is a mis-terminology in this case), the endo-carp is a hard shell. Most of the higher plants could basically be divided into three sections such as: the root system,

Miracle of Rain!

I had seen lots of things changing around in my garden this year as it was raining heavily. Unfortunately, one of the village flooded completely and villagers needs to left this, many died during night. Even after all this, if we see the positive part, rain is always something eagerly to be waited during summer. I’m writing this blog lately, as now gets time to start practising my hobby as to write something. I guess missed lots of things here.

Come to the garden. My grandmother likes to spend mo

There are not many keys on my keychain.  It says that my way of life is simple. There aren't many doors or locks I need to open, and it also shows that I like my bag lightweight, so I usually leave the keys I don't in use at home.

One of the keys is my steel horse (motorbike) key, which tells that I need it to go to work every day. It's a good partner that is always ready for me no matter how the weather is, taking me to the places I need to be. I really appreciate it.

The other two keys, a p

I've come across the following:
1. You are reason enough for me to go on living.
2. He's enough reason to give up my freedom.
Now, are "reason enough" and "enough reason" interchangeable? Or is there any difference in the nuance or the meaning?

My First of Late Autumn's 2012 ^_^

The winter of late autumn arrived yesterday. It started at middle day with sleet and rain and finished it with something close to snow at yesterday's night. So to the night the ground was all covered with white carpet.. It's great, because the snow wont let it get dark at night. I don't need to switch lights on if I have to get up at night... Actually I think I did not switch light on also before.. Hmmmm, I guess the city lights give some light even without snow. Oh and air was nice and clean to

You can listen to the audio version of the blog here.

I only have three keys. I never paid attention that I do not have so many keys:one for the entrance door and the other for my car. The third one is an extra key that I made for my dad last year.He came to Canada to visit me and as such, an extra key was made for him. I think the reason that I do not have different keys with different key-chains is that I do not like to carry so many objects with me. I like to have a neat and organized purse

HELP BUILD NEW KACHIN COUNTRY

Kachins and Burmese will no longer be able to live side by side under this ever color-changing chameleon government. What color the regimes may change, their main aim is to disperse, crash and finally, to eliminate the minorities. The government never gives up to abandon their old way of TaKhins’ policy as their pioneers, TaKhins of British colonials’ plan and strategies i.e. to eliminate minorities in the country and take away their lands. In order to conquer the whole country into an inconvinc

Balancing life and work

A lot of people talk about wanting more balance and flexibility in their work and in their lives, about wanting to achieve “work/life” balance. Work isn't something you do when you’re not living your life. It’s just as much a part of your life as family time or play. You get to choose what matters most to you, and how much attention you wish to give to each area of your life first, second, and so on. If you don't have much control over the hours you have to work, you can ask yourself, "In wh
