At this time of year we often write wish lists for our loved ones. On my wish list was a coffee bean grinder and a novel by Kate Morton called "The Secret Keeper". I also asked my daughter to learn a song for me (see below). It's from my favourite Christmas movie, "The Polar Express". I'm hoping she'll sing it at our Christmas Eve celebration tomorrow night. 

I thought it might be fun to create an EnglishClub wish list. What would you like to see added to EnglishClub/MyEC in 2013? More podcasts?

The time of school comes , the time of sadness comes . children go to their schools They race, fight playfully ,play practical jokes on one another, laugh with all their hearts. They are joyful .They remind me of you, dear. So I hurry to the market to bring you clothes ,pencils, colors , balls..as I did last year , but I forget to ask you , do you have schools , stars , windows ? …do you have fields to play because I know you were interested in playing … but today it is a pity to see your grave

The year is coming to an end. To blog about our experiences or great moments on MyEC would remind us how we're able to contribute our own little ways to make this site be continuously patronized and supported by many members regardless of their English levels or knowledge. This is also a reminder if improvements of learning the language are achieved, based on the goals that we set to ourselves.

My life was as a freelance farm consultant travelling worldwide.  I taught English when and where I could to help local communities.     I retired from farming - though I miss it terribly - and taught English Conversation in the Khon Kaen area of Thailand.   I have recently moved to Chonburi province and hope to teach here privately - too old by Thai government regulations to teach officially !?   I would like to hear from anyone, anywhere about anything.

       Tonight is the last night of Autumn. We, Iranian celebrate it as the "Yalda Night", the longest night whole the year. Yalda has great significance in the Persian/Iranian calendar.
