My first post = anyone out there ?

My life was as a freelance farm consultant travelling worldwide.  I taught English when and where I could to help local communities.     I retired from farming - though I miss it terribly - and taught English Conversation in the Khon Kaen area of Thailand.   I have recently moved to Chonburi province and hope to teach here privately - too old by Thai government regulations to teach officially !?   I would like to hear from anyone, anywhere about anything.

Take care everyone.   Ian

  • Thank you to everyone who sent their good wishes on my first blog.
The Western New Year is only really celebrated in the big cities here in Thailand.
Where I live now, it's been and gone with a little loud music and a few fireworks.
The day's off work are of course appreciated and Thai's normally go home if it is a LONG weekend as this year. Traffic is of course very bad.
My best wishes to everyone for the coming year.
