I stumbled on this painting recently. You know something? This is no ordinary painting! It is said that there are about 300 expressions (idioms, proverbs, phrases, etc.) hidden in it. I spotted a good few of them in less than a minute, as a matter of fact! Believe it or not, I was very much intrigued by the challenge so I started to make a list of the expressions that flashed on me. Guess what! I have been an IESOL and IELTS examiner for over 2 years and invigilating up to 10 exams every week and often see terrible cases of exam nerves. Last month I decided to make a blog entry and i read all the responses I got. I was a bit too much concern about people saying that they make mistakes and they said that they want to avoid making them. I have reflected on that, and I have draw the conclusion that mistakes make part of the learning process and if you don't make any mistakes, you are probably not learning because you are not taking challenges or you're over thinking a lot about the rules.

As an active member of EC, I have been concerned about how many students here want to practise their English but they cannot afford any paid live lessons.
There I have an idea:
Why don't we organize at least a once-a-week tutorial for 4 students in a conference via skype?
If we are six teachers, then we can offer a 1-and- a- half hour class a week each, so our students can come over and enjoy free live lessons and we will be collaborating with the world-wide English l

example

The first is for long word and the second is for short word, but I find it different for the word FUN
