13. hit the hay means "go to bed" (also "hit the sack")

Example: It's after 12 o'clock. I think it's time to hit the hay.

Example: Our business is really improving. We've been in the black all year.

 Today we had rain so there must be puddle on my way back. It happens  every where around the globe. And, one thing is common,young people like to paddle  through puddle during rainy season.

If you say a sentence is grammatically correct, you mean there's no grammar mistake in it, but it may not be natural or impossible for native English speakers to make a sentence like that.

It's not so easy for a learner of English to make a sentence which is natural, even though they have learned English for such a long time/so long and have learned all the grammar rules.
