1) do not have faith: God works for believer  2)they are not patient: God is never late, and at right time, the longer He takes, the bigger the

The good news is, for both communities English is a common language. Therefore, I use English to communicate with my neighbors and other people I come across in my everyday life.

As English plays an important role in my life I prac

  1. What is the relevance of learning English in your life, in your society and in your environment?

Ans)

English is supposed to be our official language (In Pakistan).  This language rules in government matters, business, and in some schools whose medium of teaching is English.  So this is essential for us to know English if we need a job in a reputable organization, so I did learn English.  English is the requirement of my job.

My first job was with an indenting company.  You must know that indentin

Yes, you can put it this way: Whose writing here do you enjoy the most?

I mean 'on MyEC' by 'here'. This is not exactly one of the questions offered by Lydy Anne in her writing challenge, but it's directly connected to them.

I've really enjoyed Tara's writing here, should it be her writing challenges, comments or messages. Yes, you got it: my type:)

Tara is a native English teacher, writer or novelist. Her writing is so readable, or you can call it 'plain English' - not exactly means 'simple', ev

  1. What do you think is the best section in EC that has made your English learning improved? Why?
  2. What do you like most in this club?  Why?

The best section in EC which in my opinion has made my English learning improved is “blogging”.  Like I have already explained in one of my previous blogs that blogging is said to post (publish) a writer’s own experiences, observations, opinions feelings on a website or in a forum for the benefit of the readers.  Since I know that my writing is going to be read,

A Worth Lesson from a Sufi Scholar

There was a young-Islamic student who was sitting on the edge of an Islamic school bench. His face showed that he was facing problems and feeling so pathetic. His wise teacher saw the student, came close to him and asked “Don’t you see there are many beautiful things in this world?” The teacher continued “Where is your grateful face?” Then, the student responded “Lately, I’ve been facing so many problems, that’s why I seem so pathetic, Syaikh.” Smiling and looking at his sad face, the teacher pr

At The Printer Service

Me = OneePM = Printer mechanic

After an hour of queue.
PM : What’s the problem?
Me : Error 5600, and the roll doesn’t move.
PM : Ok. Let me see!

A minute later, the printer didn’t work as I told him. Then, he disassembled it. I was intruding his work.
Me : Bro, I just bought the roll a month ago, but it didn’t work two weeks afterward. I still have the bill, it is exactly a month ago, so it’s still on warranty.
PM : Where is it?
Me : Here it is.

He seemed to be struggling a bit hard to fix it an

1. Personal Passive
When we put an object of an active sentence into passive, it becomes subject of the passive sentence.

Active sentence → The professor gave the students the books.
Passive sentence → The students were given the books.
We sometimes use a pronoun for the students or the books in its subject form (here: they).

Active sentence → The professor gave them the books.
Passive sentence → They were given the books.
