Sometimes just agree to disagree

First off, this is just a skit, so no disrespect to any specific profession, ethnicity, etc. Second, let's face it, how many times have you encountered these kinda people? What kinda people? Those who are either too boneheaded or too stiff-necked to accept the truth? Hmm? That was rhetorical. I know. Tons!

EAT before you THINK

It's 2:30 a.m. and you're wide awake. You go to the kitchen and instinctively open the fridge. There's like, everything in there and the sky is your limit. Now the real question is: Cola or kale? Screw that! Chocolate cake and pizza or salad and tofu? Mindless eating can cause calories to add up like crazy. So before you binge on your favorite food, know how much exercise you’d have to do to work off each food you just wolfed down.

Here. Maybe this'll help.

You're welcome! think-before-you-eat-info.jpg

Photos from My Trip to Taif

Taif is a mountainous city located in the western region of Saudi Arabia. The elevation of Taif is at more than 1800 mts. above sea surface. Taif is famous for producing some kind of fruits, honey, and rose's fragrance. It is also famous for its moderate weather in the summer and so cool weather in the winter that it's nominated as a cool destination for the internal tourism here in Saudi Arabia.

Two months ago, I had a business trip to Taif that I spent the whole day there. It was really awesom

1 2 3 Open Sesame... Street

Sesame Street residents are a bunch of ''adorable'' characters that are responsible for some of my childhood nightmares. For some people they are reminiscent of cute nursery rhymes that they like so much, but now that they're not a little kid anymore, they are a little self-conscious to sing them out loud. To me, these guys seem a little off, you know? A lot, actually. You see, they um, you know what? Let's have a psychiatric analysis of their mental disorders, shall we?

While you're reading a history article, the only thing that can help you to picture a certain historic scenario is your imagination. But if there's a photo in there, your situation is totally different. It shows you how something actually looked, it helps you understand that specific moment more intimately. Be it a historical landmark, a famous person or random photo of the past - they all have amazing stories behind them. And some of 'em haunt you forever.

I'm pretty sure most of you've seen Alf

What is time?

A simple and complicated answer for this question is "time is the indefinite events that occur sequentially in irreversible order". Also there is another question that "our perception about time how much differ from its reality". Some scientists believe that time does not exist and it is an illusion. These scientists see the world as indefinite simultaneous snapshots. Passing of time in different parts of the world vary from each other. It depends on the gravity forces and velocity. If you go to

If there's food in your fridge, you have a wardrobe full of decent clothes, a place to sleep and you know, a roof over your head, you're richer than 75% of the world. If you have a saving account, a balanced checkbook and there's some money in your wallet right now, you're among the 8% of the world's wealthy. If you woke up this morning feeling more healthy as a horse and less sick as a dog, you're more blessed than the million people who won't survive this week. If you've never experienced the

The More Things Change…

I had never been to another continent besides my own until I came to Ukraine for the first time. I

had visited Canada, which borders the United States to the north, but that had been the extent of

my international travel. Since that first plane ride across the Atlantic Ocean, I have had the

opportunity to visit Greece, Germany, Spain and Poland. While I cannot be referred to as a

seasoned world traveler by any means, my experiences, which include coming to know people

Learning as a natural way.

I aspire to be fluent in English but have a very strange allergy to learning English Grammar. Besides learning grammar, I afraid spent most of my time making acquaintance with the grammar rules, which was boring, besides this I feel long time of studying grammar only killed my talent and made my brain frozen. Besides such sensation, I have a tendency to get careless with taking challenge where grammar is involved except taking Expector's challenge. It is an amazing feel

There were so many friends, who came and went in my life without being noticed, but Ahmed left long lasting impression on me. He used to sit beside me at the same desk during the class. He always encouraged me whenever I hesitated to do anything new. When I performed bad, all the classmates laughed at me except him. Besides this, he always told me very confidential matters without fear of being betrayed.

I used to make fun of him whenever he talked to me about his fiancee. Hearing the name of h

Yes, you're quite right, the two words (besides and except) are often confused - 'besides' means 'in addition to' or 'as well as', while 'except' means 'not including'.

Be careful, don't confuse 'besides' with 'beside' - the latter means 'next to' or 'at the side of'.

Right, I should have mentioned 'apart from', which can be used with either meaning (including or excluding). I'd add 'other than', which means 'not including' or 'without' (= 'except').

Sometimes you use 'except for' instead of 'exc

Show-off

In my pitiable knowledge, show off is mostly an egotistical tendency that comes with a requirement to get praise/honor/admiration by others. It may feel them superior among viewers or in the public. We people have a tendency to show others how splendid and cool our lives are! In life there, many of the choices we make only based on to look better to others. I would say it is an attention seeking disorder.2347286192?profile=original

I Married My Mom Off...

2347286727?profile=original

Dear Old Friends,

It's been a while since you heard from me.  Many good things happened and some bad.  But I decided to drop by to share the most special event that took place in my life recently...

Finally, I married my mom off! Not just to anybody but to the man she truly loves. It was a beautiful wedding attended by our closest friends and relatives. It was the day I've been waiting for - to see her in her happiest moment. All her life she's been working hard and caring for other people's wel

What the--?!

It was only two days ago that MARY posted this blog:

http://www.myenglishclub.com/profiles/blogs/report-error-problem

And miraculously(!) everything went back to normal. Sorta. Until today. On July 26, I, A738a, being of sound mind, decided to post a blog but somehow an entity, something that is pure evil and the death of all good things didn't let me. Obviously, I reported the problem. But so far I've got jack with a side of squat!

I've been trying to post a blog (not this one, naturally) and this

Oh, snap!

Museums are awesome. Not always though, especially when you're in high school and it's Field Trip Day. And what place's better than a museum for the school counselor to half a** his duties? Anyway, how many busts should you see before they all start to look the same? And don't get me started on frescoes. They're nice an' all, but you can only see so many of them before neck cramps start. Therefore, it's not surprising that some folks get a little bored of going to museums.

Okay, you are in a muse
