You liked the movie "Kingdom of Heaven" where we get to see the human side of people during the Crusades and that there are some evil but also good on both sides. Did you see this in English? I remember French, English and Arabic being spoken.
I watched it in English with sub-titles for the other languages. I know people that have learned English by repeating parts of movies until they can say all of the parts. Some of them even sound like a native speaker if they have a good ear for hearing the language.
