Mansehra a valley of mountains and lakes

    The Mansehra is the one of the most beautiful city of world situated  in Himalaya ranged of  Pakistan.Two major languages,  Hinko and pushto are being spoken in Mansehra. This city is covered around with huge mountains, beautiful lakes and green trees. From historical aspects, this placed has great importance, King Ashoka, Shah jhaaan (king of mughal empires) and his wife Malka Noor Jhaaan visited this place many time and they all embarrassed from its beauty. Before Pakistan revolution the Sikhs were ruling here. Shah Ismail Shaeed (A Muslim warrior) did battled against Sikhs with the help of  different Muslim tribes, most of them migrated from swat for the purpose of jihad and conquered all the area but at last he died at place which named Balakot. Geographically this place has also  great importance, one its touched to china through karakarum high way and 2ndly this place  is the safe house for tourists who  want to visit Himalaya ranged hills  specially k2 and naga parbut, lots of beautiful lakes  present there like, saif_ul_malook , ansoo,  dudi patsur,  lulo patsur and piala.

  • Beautiful photos! I bet the water in the river is cold if it comes from melting snow on the mountains. Are there places where you can catch fish to eat? I love fishing.
