Hello guys,I have a question for those of you, who are religious. I am atheist and that's why I am lately thinking about it. I would like to know one thing. If you should choose, tell me honestly whom do you love more: God or your closest ones such as partner, kids, parents etc? Plz don't tell me this love differs, you love both etc. Give it time and think. I would like to read clear answers. Thank you :)

It's impossible to find the answer to this question, because people must be tested and their reaction is the answer to this question. Now this question comes to mind that who has the ability and competence to carry out such difficult examination?......No one has the ability and competence for doing it, only God is able to test people in this case, and only God knows how much people love him.
Of course, I saw good answers from other members here, I agree with them too, they looked at this question from another view, They say love of God means love to family.
"God is love"
I'm orthodox Christian , I love God because he loved me first, He teaches me how to love everyone even my enemies and those who hates me . I love my family and my children, but guess what, my children grew up now and they started to have their own life and priorities, they still love me and I love them to death. But on the other hand, God is still there giving me all the love, peace and comfort I need. He is my closest friend who can hear me anytime, he turns my sadness to happiness, he gives me more than I could ask, how I can't love him more than anything in my life, he his my lord and I'm his daughter , that is why I'm "the daughter of the king" ❤️
Luci try to watch the movie of "God's not dead" it"s about an Athiest professor and a student, it also include different believes . I will try to find a link and post it. Thanks for the blog , I love your posts because you always have different interesting ideas and stories:)
For the answer to the discussion's question, the clear answer is that the believer person can't compared his love for God "the Creator" with human creature, of course he will choose God.
For non-believer in God, he will not choose God.
I'm going to tell you a little story:
An atheist challenged a believer scientist to prove to him that God is existing. The believer scientist attended late, when he came, he got up in front of the people and said: "I apologize for the delay in attendance, because I was waiting a boat to cross the river to arrive here, but I could not find boats.
Suddenly slabs of wood appeared in the river, and gathered together quickly and by system 'and became a boat, then the boat approached me, I rode and came to you. The atheist said: This guy is crazy, how the wood gathering together and becomes a boat without anyone makes it, and how it moves without anyone drives it?!
The believer replied: What do you say about yourself and you say: This is a great universe is being without God?
We are in front of two beliefs, one of them is true and the second is wrong.
If a believer person died and he was good man, he will go to paradise in the eternal life which is without end. If God and the eternal life do not exist "as the atheist belief" the believer person would not lose anything.
If the Atheist died after this short life on earth and after death discovered that God exists, the Atheist will go to eternal hell, where the fire is not quenched and the worms does not die.
What is the guilt of his kids to go to hell? Why he pushing them to hell? After death there is no chance.
With all respect, I wish you the permanent happiness, thank you very much for your useful discussion.
Hi Luci, I want to ask you: Does God exist? If God does not exist, who does regulate the universe? Is the universe organized from its own? How the stars were putting in the sky and prevented from falling to the ground? Why science has failed to create a single cell or a drop of blood?
Lucy you have asked the question from religious people; “if you choose,……………….”
I am sorry when it comes to religion there is no option for a religious person to choose, he will have to choose what God permits him to choose.
Ok now I come to the point:”………………. whom do you love more: God or your closest ones such as partner, kids, parents etc?”
Following is my honest answer:
I am a born Muslim, I do and will always definitely love God (Allah as it is Arabic word and Itself chosen by HIM to be called by this name, this is Muslim perspective).
Now remember love meanssubmission to the will of whom you love: (If it is not so there is no love but a simple contract).
So now Allah Whom I love the most commands me to love my mother very much. So I love my mother very much. Allah commands me to love my mother three time more than my father, So I love my mother more than three time I love my father. Allah asks me, “if you want come to me then serve your parents and care them till they are alive. He commands me to always pray, “O Rub please care my parents as they cared me when I was a child.” So I care my parents and also pray Rub to care them as they cared me when I was a child.
Allah Whom I love the most commands me to find a suitable girl, love her and marry her. So I love my wife very much.
Allah Whom I love the most commands me that He has bestowed upon me with kids, to love them. So I love my kids very much. I take care of them. I cry and pray when they fall sick, and as it is commanded also give them medicine.
Allah Whom I love the most commands me to love all the prophets he had sent on earth so I love them all and respect them all.
Allah Whom I love the most commands me that He has sent the Final Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), Allah Whom I love the most commands me to love Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him) more than my parents, kids and all the other people, so I love Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him) more than my parents, kids and all the other people.
Unfortunately some Muslims just say it but do not understand it ...
when you say God is the greatest it means god is the most important existence ever and he must be the most important in our life too... we must put God in our thought, words and actions... If a Muslim is a good human ... It mustn't be cause he like being kind and good... He is a good human cause God want's him to be good otherwise he/she will lost the way as some Muslims did in the history...
They does what they want in the name of God...
look at ISIL terrorists in Syria and Iraq...
They kill Muslims in the name of God...
they kill innocent humans as they're saying "God is the greatest"...
But they do not understand...
they kill innocent humans as they're thinking that they're doing the best work ever in the way of God...
But God knows that they are in the way of Evil...
Some reports show that ISIL terrorist do not even read the holy Qur'an...
They burn holy books... they destroy mosques...
Are they really Muslim...?
Islam differs a lot from what you may see in some fake Muslims' acts...
Hi Lucy :)
Your discussion reminded me to the first Of the only three blogs I wrote here.
I'm not a very religious person but I am catholic and I believe in God (and science). In that blog I wrote about a tragic event that happened to the only daughter of my very close friends, I must admit that I was angry with God because I can't understand why such things happens to innocent naive children. I remember well that horrible first days and I couldn't see Him anywhere. Ten months later I think I made peace with Him since time heals the bounds and I am so blessed and grateful for lot of things. Btw, their parents are also atheist so it's obvious whom would they chose.
I'd like to add that, (in my experience) when events like this occurs, religious people take it better or a little bit less shocked that the atheist ones.
PLEASE, I got point of Muslims that Allah is for them unique and all their points of view. I didn't want to dig, nor offend anybody by my comments or questions. I WAS JUST CURIOUS to understand the way you think. Isn't it better to ask instead of reading something?
ANOTHER POINT, even though I am atheist, I think about many things like this becuase I am open-minded person, I hope it is clear now for you all.
THE LAST THING... since we now understand opinion of members, who are muslims, I think it is useless to repeat the same thing still over and over again.
So those of you, who differ with their opinions, don't hesitate and express yourself. Thank you.
