Yes, I think it's time for us to do this. We may need to put an end to this blog before it's too late, because we need to give it a chance for our mind to go back to normal again and 'put our creativity to good use'. Enough is enough!! We've had so much fun, so many laughs or giggles together; we have asked so many childish or stupid or funny questions; we have made an effort to challenge our wisdom, and we have learned a lot from trying to take the challenge. It was you who helped keep the ball rolling. Thank you all for all the smart input. I greatly appreciate it. I really enjoyed reading every word of them and the great sense of humour hehind them, and I never thought this blog could be liked by so many members here. Thank you very much for keeping us smiling, happy, excited or tortured (for somebody)for so long.
So, why don't you tell us which qustion you enjoy most, or which is your favorite? Anyone could be picked as the 'stupidest', including Josef the founder, Tara the administrator, and all the volunteer moderators, because everyone is equal in front of 'stupidity':)))
Your opinion does matter and will make a difference here!!!
Hi Tara, Thanks for asking. I am just in survival mode until school is out. I am solidly booked for the moment with elementary students (years 4-6) in attempt to upgrade the elementary program. Unfortunately, this requires 5 periods in a row and makes for very long weeks. I am really looking forward to the end of the school year.
The kids are mostly great, but each classroom has very early beginners mixed with a variety of more advanced students. The classes are often 19-21 students in size and this combination is difficult to work with since I have been asked to focus on conversational English.
At night (4-8 PM) I am teaching adults in small sized classes and I actually look forward to those classes. Our employer is wringing every minute out of us that he can and we are glad to help, but find the schedule exhausting. No teacher I know back home has ever had this kind of schedule that I know of. After this I feel I can take on anything :)
Thanks for making your book chapter available. I liked it a lot!
