It is foolish to give money to beggars.

If  you  beg  for something free you  don't have a  say  in what you get. It's something you say to someone who's getting something without trying for it.

The term beggar  means a  person  that  begs for  money or  food. It  does not mean the same as homeless or poverty stricken. Many  such people do not beg , but make their living by other means. A wealthy person can be a beggar if  he  sits on a street corner and asks for people to give him money.

The main causes  for beggars are that they're

The Ghosts of Christmas.

2346721474?profile=originalHere we are again... the month of December.  It still is a special month for me because of what it represents, the birth of Jesus Christ, and the end of a year and the beginning of a new one.

Time to enjoy again that excellent performance of George C. Scott in Charles Dickens' Chrismas Carol.  For me, the best production ever. And as you may remember, in this movie Ebenezer Scrooge was visited by three ghosts representing the Chrismas past, Chrismas present, and Christmas to come.  Once again, t

What is poetry?

When you are in a solitude mode, or in intensely impassioned,   a verse could beam in your mind a different world and sense of pleasure. I’m talking about poetry. Why you read poetry? And how is poetry made of?

What is poetry?

No one knows what poetry is. Inversely, poetry has as many definitions as there are poets and readers. Is poetry like paintings where poet uses words instead of paint? One thing is for sure that poets are tightfisted on spending words unlike prose writers. Poetic form is ec

GOODBYE MADIBA!

He was and will always be,a source of inspiration and symbol of universal brotherhood and love, which tracends differences of color, caste and creed.

Mandela showed the world that man can imbue politics with moral and spirtual values. How desperately we need a man of his vision & stature in our society who can change our world view , which currently divides people rather than unites, promotes hatred rather than love, and sanctifies the delusion that we are the sole bearers of truth & that all oth

Why So Serious?

When we look up at great people, and wish we could be like them. You look up at your role model and feel as though you can never be that good.

Have you ever paused to ask yourself "why"?
Why can't you be that great?
Probably your answer will be something like "Look at what I did" "Look at what he does" "look at how he looks"
So its WHAT and DO that makes the difference.
Do you pause and think about how that great person used to BE? Or do you just see him as he is now? Or do you just assumed he w

Tioman Island is a small island in the South China Sea, about 32 km off the sea coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Tioman Island looks like a sleeping dragon. This is because according to a legend, a Chinese princess was on her way to Singapore and decided to stop and rest at a calm and warm water

Before I die, I want to…

Today I read an interesting news, it was all about the woman who lost her beloved friend in a day, then she felt full of grief and struggled to live out her days. She thought of everything, of death which brought clarity to her life, helped her know more about herself and what mattered most to her life. Then she wondered if other persons thought the same like her, went through the same truggle to maintain perspective amid daily grind. With helps from her friends, she turned an abandoned house ne

Is your trust blind?

“But she would never lie to me,” said Dee when Paul told her something about her friend, Zee. Paul couldn't say anything about that. It seemed Dee was enjoyed the friendship that she had with Zee very much. Actually it was a strange friendship they had, at least in from Paul's eyes. Zee was younger and treated Dee liked her own mom. Well, actually she acted like a spoiled little daughter.

“She always tells me things and she would never keep any secret from me,” Dee said. Later, she told Paul abou

I am The Hero

I was thinking all the time, asking myself where is the best guy I hope to help me. However, I never find him. When I face something strange for me, I was not confident to handle it alone. I always think that I was under qualified. I had to find another guy who is better than me. "I am not them, so that I am not great," I thought.

I lived my life that way. However, the fact I never found that guy. However, I always study. "Life is learning", I learn everything. I think I am the one with the great

Did You Know? - It's All Greek

When I wrote my blog "Did You Know? - It's The Greek's Flavour", I found out that there were many more English words originated from the Greek mythology. Therefore, I want to share a few more of those words.

Did You Know? :-

1. Morphine

2346717300?profile=originalThe word morphine, the drug that make someone in a dream-like state, was originated from Morpheus. Morpheus was the Greek God of Dreams. He had the ability to take human form and appear in people's dreams as suggested by the word 'morphe'.

I AM HAPPY SHE FORGOT ME

I AM HAPPY SHE FORGOT ME

This is a truth, believe me, I am happy she forgot me.
Love is dead now, I am happy she forgot me.
My glooming, my sadness is just because of the changing of weather.
Don't ask how I am, I am just happy to know that she forgot me.
Don't alert on my disposition, don't look into my eyes,
Don't see me with surprise, I am happy that she forgot me.
Why are you afraid, why don't you come to me
O fairies of my sleep believe me, I am happy that she forgot me.
Why do you come to m
