I went to picnic with my friend and her children. We found a nice place and settle down. My friend took the snacks box and gave it to her little three year old. The little one refused to get it and said 'Mummy I want to wash my hands first'. I was so shocked and surprised to see that. I asked her why do you need to wash your hands? The little one says ' germs in it'. She washed her hands and then started to eat. My friend told me she was aware of hand hygiene and taught her children too.

Helen opened the book, and started to read. She loved reading, it always made her forget about herself and move to another reality, not always a perfect one but a reality where she was just a watcher and she didn’t need to act. It made her feel safe and relaxed; she could spend some hours like that.

As she was reading, her thoughts were overwhelming and every day she would write down something: a phrase to describe each day. It was like a diary, but no one could understand it, only wonder.

Wishing you a happy day wherever you are. I just would like to share my family activities during my vacation at my parents-in-law's village. During vacations especially when went home to celebrate  festival, my whole family usually fill our short leisure time with recreations activities. It was scheduled that we would go to Manhattan in our second day. I have already mentioned, we woke up so early. So, after strolling for  a while we got back and again had some sleep. For some people boring, rainy Thursday but for Luci, it wasn't an ordinary day, in fact … it was her last day. Two months ago she celebrated her 81st birthday lonely among the people she didn't know at all. Yes, new environment gave her unbearable stress. Why? The Psychiatric clinic she found herself in four months ago, wasn't simply a place she imagined spending her last days or months of life. Why did they do it? Who was responsible for it? She was hopeless, empty and confused.

During my childhood, my family was very poor. There were no electricity and water supplies to my home and probably no TV to watch in the ‘80s. Dad just take wages as a carpenter or sometimes work in orchards. When he has no house to build, he went into forests to selecting suitable trees and then cut the woods into pieces that will be used in building a house. Sometimes I accompany him into forests when requested by him. With his motorcycle 'Honda C50', we used to climb some quite steeply hill.

After a long journey (almost 13 hours), we reached in NY (New York) in a broad daylight. As we started our journey from Dubai at 8.30(a.m.), we got day in both parts. Yes, we went out to take the flight in a crack of a dawn, enjoyed morning light, full daylight. Then saw dusk, somewhere went through the darkness and again saw morning and got another day, memorable experience!
