Woman: 'Sujana, do you know where is my raincoat?'

I am plastic... it is "fantastic"

Is your nose too big? What about your lips... are they too thin? Do you think your behind should be bigger? As you know, nowadays everything can be fixed, just one must have ehm… big money to get involved with this modern "hobby". Yes, I'm going to talk about 'the passive of perfective verbs'.

The passive or passive voice is formed with the different tenses of 'be' and the past particle of a verb, for example, we can say 'My bike was stolen'. You may wonder if you can say 'My bike is stolen'?

Good question! My answer is yes. If you use the past tense 'was', you're emphasizing the action - you mean your bike was stolen by someone, yesterday or any day in the past. When you say 'My bike is stolen', you just mean the 'result

Before you react sarcastically, let me remind you that we are dealing with plants here. So have you killed your plants unintentionally but you felt guilty towards them? If your answer is yes, then you’re not alone.

Most gardeners especially the new ones have committed this crime plenty of times. Even expert horticulturists have admitted themselves feeling abashed by this dilemma. But the good news is that there are simple ways to prevent it from happening again in the future.

Firstly, the most com

On 9th April, United Airlines, which is an American airline company, had to make four passengers get off an airplane because of overbooking, and they said they selected four passengers at random by a computer. However it was said that it might be racial discrimination because they were all Asian people. The airplane had planned to fly in the U.S, so there must have been many non-Asian people in the airplane.

The three passengers got off the airplane without protesting but one person didn't get

The Last Time I Saw Him

He was my class fellow from 7 to 10 grades.  He was the most intelligent student in the entire school.  Always got highest marks not only in our own class but in the whole school exams.  He never got less than 100% marks in mathematics as I remember.  I was second to him, in spite of trying my utmost to at least get equal to him.  But never, I envied him very often.  Besides in studies, he was the most gentle, humble, polite, and cultured boy, and above all, we were best friends.  Sat on the sam

If I was an inventor, I would invent a magic fragrance. Astronauts would take a bottle of this fragrance into the outer space and they would inject it into our atmosphere. Of course, the fragrance wouldn't be dangerous for the atmosphere.

The magic of the fragrance is very simple.

It needs only one single injection and everythings changes.

The effect of the fragrance:

People speak one common language, no one knows what war is, no hunger, no thirst. But the earth will not be a land of milk and hone

Let's Discover...

This is Danny’s Writing Challenge.

“If I Were an Inventor”.

If I could invent anything that would have been ‘love’.  But love cannot be an invention.  An invention of a thing is made which does not exist previously. But love is there since the time memorial.  Yes, love is always there, it is another thing that we have forgotten it, or have buried it in the dust and/or ashes of our meanness, our hypocrisy, our selfishness. It would, therefore, be a discovery, a reviving, an incarnation, an avatar
