"At the 44th minute of the football match, Huda tried to save the goal from the threat of Marcel, but his chest was hit by the leg of Rodrigues. He was still able to move, but then he fell unconscious. A few hours after being brought to the hospital, this goalkeeper died. The victory of his team (2-0) was filled with tears and hysterical weepings of the members and passionate fans of the team in the stadium." (real news, happened in my place, few months ago)

*Yahooooo*

Hello there.

I'm on cloud nine at the moment. Let me share you the reason of my excitement. I am a teacher at private language school. I teach English as a foreign language. This morning we (teachers) had to carry out the Pearson Test of English (Edexcel), (LCCI ), (EDI) for exam candidates. Before the exam, by chance, we got an inspection from the British Council officials without any ratting and some of us were questioned about examination regulations related to invigilator declaration and atte

Hi everyone,

I request the highest of fives. :))

We all know the upcoming event, the 2018 World Cup, is being held in Russia from June 14 to July 15. Aren't you so excited for that? I, myself, am neither an observer of any football team in the world nor a football game fan. Anyway, the World Cup event seems to always make almost everybody around the globe be in the grip of football fever. What about you?

The World Cup event should also be an opportunity for us to lift our spirits in learning Englis

100 blogs

I am crawling, grovelling and sometimes, I run, nevertheless, I have been moving very slowly to get to the number one hundred blog. Shame on you Dara! People have already done more than four hundred blogs and you are still creeping to get to your one hundred blogs. If you divide those blogs into the number of years on My EC, the outcome or the consequences would be very disappointing.

Now, I have reached it but honestly, I do not know what to tell the reader? Now, shall I tell him about

A few words about MyEnglishclub

I never write blogs because I am not a good writer. ( So, please, forgive me for my mistakes). But I would like to say a few words about MyEnglishclub.
Actually, I have been here for five years and seen a lot. Many people come to MyEC for learning. Most of them try to make friends around the world and share any information. Some of people use this site for dating ( despite they signed the agreement not to do that.) And some of members come here just to pass the time.
  Indeed, English club

Spinning as a way of scape

It's been a time I haven't written anything and after reading Diah's blog, something came to my mind.
As she commented, modern life, apps, circumstances... push us to be sort of lazy so we should find anything that motivate us...

...Spinning (or indoor cycling) is a fashionable activity nowadays and sooo funny. It consists on pedalling on a stationary bike to the rhythm of a lively music and following the exercises an instructor is telling us.  The pace and pedal resistance vary during th

Wisdom

They say that we have to take the wisdom even from the mouths of mad ones. When we are wise we stay safe and with no problems at all. It is a good sense and a good judgment, too. The natural ability to understand things that most people cannot understand. If you fail to see the wisdom in doing something, you have to bear the consequences.

Our story begins with the three animals but this time, instead of the donkey, we have the wolf. The fox is always smart and he knows how to free himself in dif

Writing Prompt ~ Double Letters

A Terrible Day

It was at midday, and the weather was hot. I went to the kitchenette to find something cold to drink or something sweet to eat, but nothing. I was mulling over the best solution for the problem I faced. Confronting hagridden and callous persons is an unforgettable moment to me. What maddened me that day was their foolery which could harm other people. The hunger I felt deteriorated the dizziness in my head. Before something else aggravated that hullabaloo, I decided to take an imme

2347521686?profile=originalHi, everyone!

I can’t say I am sorry for being very busy and not posting any learning tests as you prefer to discuss polygamy and polyandry instead of mastering your language. On the other hand, in my real life, I have to deal with many people speaking very interesting English “dialect”. As far as I have noticed, their (and your) main problem is phrasal verbs and vocabulary. I mostly understand what they mean but being a humorous person I always want to react, you know! LOL! So, I’d like to prop

The Apartheid Wall

The apartheid wall is a huge barrier Israel has created to divide the land of Palestine, and to restrict the movement of its citizens. Up to 8 meters high in some areas, it runs along 708 kilometers, and completely encircles some Palestinians towns.

The wall separates the West Bank from the rest of Palestine, and prevents Palestinians from crossing except through some points highly guarded and full of soldiers.

Here are some pictures I have captured of the Apartheid wall from a Palestinian village
