Following is my submission on Onee Chan's motivation.

It was a long time ago when I was looking for a job. One of my relatives asked me to visit his house to talk about this how could he help me. He directed me how to reach his house which was situated in a locality of lower middle class where all the houses were on the roadside.  I reached the area and started to count down the houses to find the one where he lived.  I saw a house which looked to be very similar as I was told and at once raise t

Long time ago, when I was 14-15, I wanted my parents to buy me a mountain bike. That time I didn't know that real mountain bikes were 10-20 times more expensive than the regular ones, although they look almost the same.

There were no limits of my happiness and gratitude when I got my own bike on my birthday! But the bike's gear shift mechanism broke down on the next day. It didn't take much time to repair that mechanism, but I was not that excited anymore.

And guess what, I started to learn the st

Hi MyEC Members,

You know that I love C.S. LEWIS's quotes : You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. His quote inspired me to set another goal : learning new things and be part of my passion. I learn painting (My Hobby : Digital Painting)  and create handy craft (My New Hobby : Chicken Keychain)

I come back to set up another a new photo challenge in the middle of this year, after I resigned some time ago, I intend inviting you to take participation of the photo challenge

Thanks Mr. Josef!

Yes, I would like to say thanks a lot to our  honorable founder Mr. Josef for his today's mail regarding English club members' profile pictures! Yesterday I (we) got a message from  Admin, it says who's page has no current profile picture it may be deleted. Honestly speaking, I got frightened thinking about my profile picture then I sent a mail to our favorite two Mods, Paula and Onee and finally today I have got ( I think you also got) a message from Mr. Josef in this regards. Now, it is clear

Hi everyone! ^_^

Checking photo collections in my netbook made me think of the words for the pictures. However, I found it not too easy to find the correct words. What about you? I've checked the answers. The answer of each picture is one English word except number 5. Let me know your idea or guessing. :))

* Participants have already found the answers and I wrote them at the bottom of each picture. Hence, you can guess yourself before looking at the answers. Thank you. ^^

#Don'tJudgeABookByItsCover

You know when it comes to books I'm a hardcore advocate. Reading them, giving them to friends, family, kissing cousins, hell even random strangers. The point is these days it's really hard to find people reading $#!7. They're busy taking pictures of their new doggy door or the last molar they have removed.

In France there's a bookstore that's onto something. The Librairie Mollat employees take pictures of themselves and do their best to match their actual photos with book covers. They share the

Feelings of a Mathematician:

How a mathematician may feel when fall in love:

O my multiple sweet heart!

Yesterday I was passing by your rectangular house in trigonometric lane. You were there with your cute circular face, conical nose, and spherical eyes, standing in your triangular garden. How geometrical it was felt.  My oblique heart was at its projectile with joy to see you standing at the door like a beauty set in a rectangular frame. Before seeing you my heart was a null, but when a vector of magnitude (reflection of lo

I am a passionate non- native English teacher from Poland. Teaching is a crucial part of my life. With that understanding, I am a lifelong learner.
I am applying a blended learning/ training and flipped classroom method.
The traditional physical classroom settings are not efficient enough for my lessons.
In my opinion, technology gives us countless new possibilities.
As I have already specified, I prefer blended learning, which means taking advantage of both traditional f2f techniques and opport

The name of the psychologist was Paul Watzlawik. And the title is "manual to unhappiness". Paul wrote and collected some short stories of which the following makes me giggle on ocassion:

Honesty vs Sincerity

* H O N E S T Y *

Once, I found a startfruit seller tried to deceive my elder sister by reducing the weights. But, I made her fail in doing that. I smiled knowing it and said, "Ma'am, it is still a half kilogram to reach 5 kg." -This was kind of dishonest way to earn money which make others be in loss-

A few weeks ago, I bought two packs of pen and a boardmarker. After counting the charge myself, I knew I should pay IDR 44k and I gave old man a sheet of IDR 100k. What a surprise! He gave me IDR 74

Hi, everyone! Here is one more grammar test for you to master your skills. I have to admit borrowing two last sentences from the blog of one EC member. Moderator News

Sadly, GRACE has had to give up as a volunteer Photo Moderator. For personal reasons and her heavy workload, Grace cannot give the time to moderating photos that she feels members need. That's a shame because she helped many members with advice on their photo titles and descriptions. If it's me moderating, I just delete pics without titles as they break the rules! Luckily I don't moderate photos very often and your kind and generous photo mods take time to help members when they can. Grace has b

Good morning everyone!

I guess you already know that our photo Mod, Grace, relinquished photo moderator. She had been a photo moderator for years, I'm not sure how many years exactly, anybody knows? :) Since I became a member of MyEC for almost four years, she always inspired me and many members (I'm sure) to be active in photo section. Her photo challenges are really super creative and oftentimes she greatly appreciated members' photos. Her positive posture and warm friendship really touched eve

It is really tiring!

You are not accepting the one who is meant for you,

and you are running after the one who is not for you.

Remember, the one who comes to you

is the one who is destined, the sent one.

And the one who is going away from you is not for you,

It is not necessary that everyone who comes to you, is the sent one.

Who stays with you always is the one who is the sent one.

When everyone leaves, this is the one who stays with you,

whose face is towards you, and back towards the entire world.
