A disappointment is the result of false expectations of something or someone. Also if we don't like to be disappointed, every disappointment always brings us closer and closer towards the truth.

To me the friendlist here in MyEC is a very good gadget for listing friends and enable them to gather personal information about yourself. You also might share intimate images (intimate not to mean sexual interaction or show off or something) but things you don´t want to be seen by everyone. 

But it is also a chance for people to collect information about one and use them for an attack, offence and insult.
