To me the friendlist here in MyEC is a very good gadget for listing friends and enable them to gather personal information about yourself. You also might share intimate images (intimate not to mean sexual interaction or show off or something) but things you don´t want to be seen by everyone.
But it is also a chance for people to collect information about one and use them for an attack, offence and insult.
In wise prevision the creator(s) of this site provided us with the option to decide ourselves who we allow to see all the information you store on your page and installed the option to lock it for some people and allow other to see what you had garnered there.
According to the motto: " the more enemies, the more honour" some people do not care and allow everyone to look up what they stored -maybe because they don´t store anything or they don´t mind- or quite simply they don´t know about the option to lock up the door to their page in order to avoid burglery and robbery.
I myself decided to close the door and keep it locked against people that don´t belong to my inner circle of friends. Usually I speak a lot with people and get to know about them before I invite people or confirm friend requests. As there are different sorts of applicants. With some we chat only once and they knock on your page door and request entry. To those I usually apologise telling them that I were picky with who I share my personate information. Others I don´t feel it was good to let them in and let them know about me. My refusal not necessarily means that I dislike them ..... just that I am not sure. I need to know them better. And there are such people I trust in and am glad to let them enter my small refugium.lol.
But also I happened -an old clown that I am- being charmed and duped that I too early give the entry free and let them in. Hardly that I have done that they start spread rumours and gossip about me. Thanks god or allah or konfuzius or wakantanka (the big secret) and thanks to the creator(s) of this site they also installed a door keeper I can order to kick such people out. And I did..... believe me I did.

Such people are easy to spot. Just tell them, “please this is a big secret”, watch their eyes start to glow almost immediately and then seat back and watch the grapevine start to rumble. To these people, they derive their pleasure by doing it. Ironically, they will even start divulging the said secret by telling you that “please, this is a secret”.
Very funny indeed.
Have you heard this statement before: “three people can keep a secret if two are dead”? This statement implies that keeping a secret is almost impossible for (most) people to do.
But I don’t think it is supposed to be like that but tip of the tongue "more enemies,more honor" :D...

And thanks for calling me a cool guy. But I can´t help, even cool guys or may be kings jesters have their limits that may vary on the relation one has to others.
About Airbus A738a I don´t know anything........... and I think he (I assume he is male? anyway) doesn´t know anything about me (also just an assumption). But he (assumedly) started to pass over my afore mentioned limits by quoting parts of my text ripping it off context and naming it or me "creepaaaah". Sorry, that sparked my engines and made me lift off.
I might loook a bit old fashioned here but being a cool person to me belongs to check out how far one can go before one declares another one´s points of view creep or creepy.
Sorry, I won´t tell more. but that´s it. I did not insult or offend A738 but spoke in a respectful manner to him. Would be nice if you could respect my pretty old fashioned take of personate settings.
