Get you some time!

Yes, there are many people who usually tend to be more active than others. They love their jobs, ready to get more responsibilities and enjoy their busy life! Needless to say, they achieve many goals in their lives. Even some of them feel better when they have much more responsibilities. But, is it so good?
In real life, I know some people who always think about their work places. It seems, they are on duties all time. But, I have found their life style is not that much healthy. Actually, at fir

A few month ago, I posted a blog on some rare historical photos, not that famous, though. Nonetheless, controversial.

I'd like to share some more. Some of these pics made me start a journey to find the fountain of youth. Stat. Ever heard of ''Take a picture. It'll last longer.''? As cynical and revoltingly harsh as it may seem; it's true. So without any further ado; let's take a look, shall we?

WE ALL ARE FROM PANGAEA.

Aloha lovely and curious EC people who are reading this! ^_^

I don't know how many of you like to read stuff about Geology, Geography, the History of Earth or Science in general. I don't know much about anything, but I love to learn and I'm a very curious cat!

I guess you all know that, in the early Jurassic times, the Earth continents weren't divided. The Earth just had 1 huge continent called: The Pangaea (I love this name btw) and it was surrounded by a super ocean called Panthalassa (I love th

Who Is to blame?

“Dad, may I hang out with my friend?” begged Rasha.

“No, you can’t!” her father answered.

She asked, “Why?”

“You stay home!”, said her Dad firmly without any explanations.

This 16 years old girl still wanted to persuade her parents “Mom, please let me hang out with my friend!”

“No, dear, you’d better stay home!” her beautiful mom replied.

“C’mon, Dad….! It will not be long”

She started to feel annoyed and argue with her parents. “I will just go for a while, why should I just stay home? It’s not fair.

No Title

Sometime we care for someone, admire their presence, trust them.

Sometime we feel  weakness in front of someone,

Because We really cherish them.

Their each and every action really effect us,

But Sometime they hurt us by Expecting more then our strength, ability and potential..

But we always try to make them happy.

Sometime we are not getting our self,

What we want from them, because we are not fulfilling their all wishes.

We just try to make them Happy in Our own way,

That's all make us sad at the End....

Once upon a time...

After reading bedtime stories for my flu-ridden nephew for THREE hours, nonstop, I might add, I started to think about these useful tools that really come in handy for parents to control some sugar-fueled critters known as "kids" since well, the dawn of time, I guess:

-Be good Tommy, or else...

-Or else what, Mommy?

-No bedtime story tonight.

-Okay.

-For the love of... go to bed, sweetie.

-Read me a story and I'll be the princess, okay?

-Yes, yes. Oh, thank God!

Rawwwwr!

RaorrRR. RoaRRRrrr.

Yup. Even our

Yes, it's a common mistake to link two independent clauses with a comma. That is called 'comma splice' or 'comma fault'.

You can use a period/full stop, a semicolon, or a comma with a coordinating conjunction to connect two independent clauses:

(comma splice/fault) "I went for a walk, she cooked a meal."

(correct) "I went for a walk. She cooked a meal."

(correct) "I went for a walk; she cooked a meal."

(correct) "I went for a walk, and she cooked a meal."

(correct) "When I went for a walk, she cooked

What do you do?

Today I came up to ask you a question! And, the question is how do you manage your emotions especially when you are upset? I have found, I usually get upset, sometimes just for a trivial matter! What a pity! Though finally I can manage myself but it hurts me. So, I would like to ask you actually how do you feel in a tough or unusual situation and how do you manage these situations?

Yesterday I was upset and it was not due to for a trivial matter. There was a very reason. And, whole day long I fe

1. My father calls me on the phone just to say hi

2. My mum drops by to my house before she goes to work.

3. My husband cooks when I'm sick and tired after teaching hours on weekends.

4. My son offers to run errands without being asked

Writing

It is wrong to think that one can write English by mastering a few rules of grammar. Rules of grammar do count, but they are not the whole. Thus, it's possible that one may write English which may be grammatically correct but may not be good English. Perspicuity or lucidity is the first requisite of a good style.

Most learners labour under the misunderstanding that the only English worth writing is the English overloaded with difficult words and phrases. They prefer long and high-sounding words

paradoxes

The people were trying to get their tickets at the train station. Some were standing in queues and others were keeping an eye on the suitcases and the rest of the luggage. Tom boarded the train without any tickets, and he sat near an old lady. The lady looked at him approvingly and admiringly. She thought of changing her seat and moving nearer to him, but her foot was entangled in the strap of her suitcase. Then, she was absent for a while and came back to sit next to him. He did not pay any att

A friend of mine once told me that when he was a kid he always wanted to do the washing-up after a meal, his mum would always stop him and told him that he wasn’t supposed to do that and just let their maid do the work.

His mum is running a successful chemical factory in China now. Her mum’s motive was to give him a lesson of self-esteem and let him know his self-worth with no intention of degrading the job of a maid.

I just thought of this story lately.  I have seen people who suffer from low se

A 21 Milestones

Last Saturday, 17th September 2016, after more than 16 events since I started running in 2016, I run for 21km (13 miles). It was a momentous decision for me to enter the half marathon event. But I was lucky that I have a group of friends that keeps on pushing and supporting each other.

I still remember when the first time I entered my first run, it was only for 3 km fun run. I thought it was hard, but at the same time when I finished it, the feeling of accomplishment was really awesome.
