Aloha lovely and curious EC people who are reading this! ^_^
I don't know how many of you like to read stuff about Geology, Geography, the History of Earth or Science in general. I don't know much about anything, but I love to learn and I'm a very curious cat!
I guess you all know that, in the early Jurassic times, the Earth continents weren't divided. The Earth just had 1 huge continent called: The Pangaea (I love this name btw) and it was surrounded by a super ocean called Panthalassa (I love this word too!) that's the ancestral of the Pacific Ocean.
Anyway, my thought about this is... Imagine if the continents have never broke up and we were living in a huge supercontinent, all together.
Imagine also if there weren't borders and we all were sharing the same resources.
Imagine...
I've the feeling that it could have been quite cool (being optimistic, ofc)
But we'll never know...
 Thanks for reading.
(Definition from Wikipedia: Pangaea or Pangea was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras. It assembled from earlier continental units approximately 300 million years ago, and it began to break apart about 175 million years ago. Pangaea was the last supercontinent to have existed and the first to be reconstructed by geologists.)

setareh yes, I agree with you... It seems human being feel the 'need' to differenciate and separate people in many different ways. I wonder if it's part of our nature so we are 'doomed' to keep divided... Anyway, I love just to think that no matter what, you and I come from the same piece of land after all :)
Thanks a lot for dropping by!
Risty Aven! yeah I think it would be easier to travel! haha... and probably there will be less air traffic, that means also less pollution.
Thanks for your cute comment :)
Dear Mary,I think this issue has backed up with many shreds of evidence to prove its authenticity. But for me, this is true and factual. I see it the same as you, that it could be "cool", to think that I'm able to travel by land (from east to west, north to south), I guess it will not cost much going to Spain now. Hahaha!
Thanks for sharing your curiosity el felino...hope I translated it right. (Just trying)
If the continents were not seperated, we would seperate them with names. It's human tendency to differenciate and separate things. We do it even in the same country and city. Anyway the idea of being from one continent is cool. Oh Mary and I are from the same continent.:)
Hello noaslpls!
Well, we don't live in the same continent but we live in the same planet... Your comment made me realize that at the end it doesn't matter if is just 1 big piece of land or a big land divided in 5 pieces... I think the human being problems would be the same :P
Because you said "sharing the same resources? We will plunder it until we all resources are gone" --- Yup. And that's happening now too
You also said: "After some time, you just want to kill each other or just want them to shut up." -- Yup! And again, that's happening too! :D
Anyway, the main message of this blog is the meaning of the title: We all come from the same place. We should always remember that... Thanks for your interesting comment noas :)
Luci! You'll see, I'll 'build' my own (and super cheesy) Panagea land and we'll kill our enemies throwing super-sugary cakes to their 'realistic' faces :P
Hello Afro,
Yes, we should be trying other 'systems', since the one we have now it's not really working too well... But it's not easy to change the rules of the game when we have been playing to the same thing for so long. Anyway, I just hope people never forget that we all come from the same place, after all. Thanks for dropping by :)
Hey Estanis, drinkin' kalimotxo at the beach? Okay, you made a point there! haha...
Thanks for dropping by ;)
Hello Serene! Nice to see you around ^_^
You said: "if we live in the same continent then possibility to increase chaos in the world."... Well, don't you think the world is pretty much chaotic already? :D
As I replied to noaslpls, I think at the end it doesn't matter if we live in a huge continent or not. The human nature will make the same 'mistakes' anyway. But the thing is to remember that we all come from the same place.
Thanks for your comment :)
Thank you all, 'realistic' people and silly dreamers like me! --Btw, I'm 'realistic' too, but I've also my 'dreamer' side ;)
At the end, it doesn't matter if we live more or less together each other. It just matters that we all come from the same place... and we are made of stardust! ^_^
Thanks a heap for reading!
Dear MarY! I was not aware of it (Pangaea)before your posting. I believe everything happens for some good reason, if we live in the same continent then possibility to increase chaos in the world.
So lovely thought, dear, I wish if we were live in the same continent!
Btw, I'm not sure if I'd like to live in such pancreas, sorry pangaea, since Spain was near the center of that huge continent and we,d have to travel too much to have a 'calimocho' by the beach. That's not cool!
Hum....I think as it is a real 'Utopia' to most of us then why not try to find another way? Yes, it is better to be more frank, more humane! Nice thinking, anyway!
I don't want to sound so pessimistic, but I don't want to us to live in the same big continent. Why? Image, if we are living in the same big continent and sharing the same resources? We will plunder it until we all resources are gone. At least when we are divided like this, we have to be dependent on each other for other resources. At the same time because some of the resources are very scarce, we like to remind each other that not to over used them.
Imagine if you're living in a big house with all your extended family members as well as their extended family members. It's crazy right? After some time, you just want to kill each other or just want them to shut up.
For me, living in a big such big continent will be like that. At least when we are living far apart, we will start to appreciate each other more and appreciate our differences.
