I wanted to thnks all my EC friends for helping me improve my english ..... yesterday i did my first presentation in english infront of too many people from different countries and it was awsome , My professor was surprised !! 2 years ago i was not able to speak english at all but since i joined EC i learnt too much and i took away my shyness now i am able to speak without fear but with great love and motivation , thnks to all my EC friends for your help and great encouragement and motivation :)

I used to come online on chatroom on week end and find Michelle yang our friend from taiwan) always jumping and bring happiness for us even when we are sad but she always make you smile  , but last week i come and didnt find her anymore !! even her page was removed , I asked Raun and he said she was baned !!!!I was so shoked !! how can a sweet friend like Michelle got baned from EC !! she is the one who was so close to EC and she did lot for EC to keep us all unity like one family , she was member since more than 2 years and now she got baned , is that her reward after all what she did for EC?? plz guys do rememer her and her shinning smile

Hi All EC friends I wanted to share with u my experiance on skype conference as tara asked me to talk about it , it can maybe helpful for some friends who want improve their english speaking ,

first i was so shy to speak english as many members here who dont feel confident when they speak english with foreigners but I rememberd once when Teacher Nadira encouraged me to speak with her on skype ,

it was my first time i speak english on voice chat , it was great because we started to add some friends as Teacher Michelle yang from taiwan, and Ali syed and ainy  from pakistan , Ida from malaysia , halima from Algeria , light from yemen , Anita and vicky  from india and skoon from Saudia , and Ohnie from US who helped us a lot too as native american speaker  and so many other friends who joined us later ,

we really built a good family relationship between differents people from over the world !!i can see now how much our english speaking has improved since the first time we spoke , so recently as people get busy we dont meet often online on skype :(

however this last few weeks I had new experiance with Teacher Anne ( from germany )  and teacher contacto costarica ( from costarica) , what an amazing way to improve english, they ask u to chose weither topic u like , business , frenship , personality ..... or other things than evrybody give his /her opinion its an active way to talk and share ur though I realy enjoyed this way of communication online 

I would like to recommande you guys if u want improve speaking as well as writing  , try to do first step by speaking with friends that u know are serious  , try to speak , speak and speak no matter mistakes you do just practise is the best way to be english speaker in future

hi guys i wanted to share with u about my last discover , one day i had free time and i was lloking in Facebook than i said what if i wrote my family name on facebook and try to spy some relatives :D but the fact that i find someone has the same name as me !!! i sent him request and asked him some question about where he lives than i aksed him about some people , he said they are my brothers ans sisters !!! I was shoked !!! how come and i know all of cousine !! so when i called my mother and asked her she said that ur uncle is married with second wife and has 2 sons but nobody know about it !!! i was like how come they are my relative and i dont know them untill i find them in facebook after 25 years !!!!! so i asked him do u know my aunty and uncle and all family he said no they dont know anyone of our family

so i called all my family and told them that we have realtives that u dont know than they all were surprised but after explaing to them  they all were happy to know him , I hope next time can see him in real and present him to all my family

if it was not facebook how can i know him??

what about u do u have any strange story to tell us ?? plz share with us

Where are we heading ?

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more but enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgement; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how

to make a living, but not a life; We've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but, lower morals.

We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes. These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. Where are we heading ....?

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family an unwise investment indeed...

The Four Cats

Four men were bragging about how smart their cats were.

The first man was an Engineer,

The second man was an Accountant,

The third man was a Chemist, and

The fourth man was a Government Employee.


To show off, the Engineer called his cat, "T-square, do your stuff."


T-square pranced over to the desk, took out some paper and pen and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle.


Everyone agreed that was pretty smart.


But the Accountant said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said,

"Spreadsheet, do your stuff."

Spreadsheet went out to the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into 4 equal piles of 3 cookies.

Everyone agreed that was good.

But the Chemist said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Measure, do your stuff."

Measure got up, walked to the fridge, took out a quart of milk, got a 10 ounce glass from the cupboard and poured

Exactly 8 ounces without spilling a drop into the glass.

Everyone agreed that was pretty good.


Then the three men turned to the Government Employee and said, "What can your cat do?"

The Government Employee called his cat and said, "CoffeeBreak, do your stuff."

CoffeeBreak jumped to his feet.......

Ate the cookies........


Drank the milk.....


Sh*t on the paper.......

Screwed the other three cats........


Claimed he injured his back while doing so.

Filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions.......

Put in for Workers Compensation..................and

Went home for the rest of the day on sick leave............

AND THAT, MY FRIEND IS WHY EVERYONE WANTS TO WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT!

PLEASE WAIT UNTIL THE GROUP CHANGES POSITIONS.
IS IT TWELVE OR THIRTEEN??

This will drive you crazy!

WHERE DOES THE EXTRA MAN COME FROM?
Don't ask me; I haven't figured it out yet !!
