There were a lot of occasions where we were exposed in situations that needed us to make a decision in a flash. Back to two months ago, I started buckling down and being more active in English Club. I kept reading, learning articles and grammar lessons, chatting with friends in the chat room, to comment friends’ blogs with the words or phrases I’ve learned. For me signing in my ec was seeking knowledge at first. I am still in need for that and I won't stop learning anyway. I am always eager to learn more and more ,and everyday for me is a challenge I take in my learning process. But what I couldn't expect is that my ec wasn't a dead website without life. Lonelyness in Winter

This month winter come in Mainland Europe. I could imagine the snows spreading everywhere ....on the roof, tress, road, car . Almost people feel cold and frozen. Last Friday afternoon (November 5th) was very special to me. I got to pick Sam up from school and got to hang out with him at the mall afterwards. Since I'm a working mom, the privilege of taking Sam to school and picking him up is rare while my in-laws normally do this job for me.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I like this holiday in the US. One of the reasons is that it is celebrated by most people the same: get together with family and/or friends, eat turkey or and/or other autumn harvest foods (e.g. squash, potatoes, cranberries, brussel sprouts) and luscious desserts. Hello MyEC friends!You know, here in Brazil in this period of the year there is much flood because of the high volume of rain. This month, people from Belo Horizonte already have had to leave their homes or they will die and lose all their things and their family too.
