That should be fun and educational...I would like you to tell me what you would like to see and do, as soon as you arrive in America. Imagine you have landed in a plane, or stepped off a boat. You have a hotel room all set up for you. You have showered and eaten. You are in your preferred destination. Now what?Where do you want to go first? What do you want to see first? You'll have to tell me what city you're in, where you want to go, and what you plan to see there. Now here's the fun part: How are you going to get there? Is your English good enough? Do you know what to say, and who to say it to? Good luck!
First, I'm really sorry because am not so interested in America. The most country that I want to visit is "NEWZEALAND". The country has a spectacular landscape in this earth and perfect for walking and trekking may be it's because am one of adventure man :D
The first place I want to visit in NZ is " Whanganui National Park / Whanganui Rivers ", it's cool to cross " The bridge nowhere I thought. After that go to "Whale Tail-off Kaikoura". Ever read the article about the place that where we can seen the Whales from the shore. For an even closer look, visitors can board a whale watching tour.
I've planned to take my family to the place and just wait to make the plan comes true.
woow already excited by the idea. I would call my friend in US to make a hotel booking for me in airport I would take a taxi to the hotel may be the hotel would offer a ride from the airport. From the hotel OI would call my friend to tell him that I have arrived safely and ask him to come by after having some rest from the loooong flight.
Afterwards we would meet and he would probably invite me for a meal and we would arrange a schedule for my tour. It would include visiting Statue of Liberty, New York City, Disney Land, Hollywood and Harvard.
I would go to Virginia as well to see my friend’s house and I would visit my relatives in Alabama. I have a class mate works in US I don’t know in which state but I would find out visit him as well.
I would go with my Friend to his University where he is working as a lecturer and studying for his PHD at the same time I want to see his lab and the whole places I have seen only in his photos. Once he uploaded a photo is a beautiful pond and a room overlooks at it in his facebook profile, this place is fascinating I am dying to see it in real.
I had an American teacher who was working in Sudan. He taught me two courses were with a good benefit for me He is a great teacher and nice person. he invited the whole class to his house in Sudan after the end of the course we met his wife she is as sweet as him. I would love to contact him and visit him in US.
I would love to meet My EC members who lives in US first of them Mr.DiSalle:)
I don't know much about must see places in US but I love natural scenes I would ask my friend to guide me and help with his suggestions.
Woow Mr.DiSalle it’s an interesting blog I enjoyed imagining all this fun I would have if I were there one day.
Thanks.
First, and many people would say the same, I'd love to go to New York: Central Park, Fifth Avenue, The Maddison Square Garden, The liberty statue, Soho, Broadway. The penny stations, the Hamptons. OMG, Itps and endlest list.
Then, I'd like to go to Los Angeles. I mean, Bervely Hills, Holliwood walk of fame. The studios, among others.
Next, I would like to go to Florida. I wanna go to Disney World (who don't) then I love to go to one of these big amusement parks, I wanna ride on on of those great roller coasters. Then I'd love to go to Miami Beach or Palm spring. And afterwards I wanna go to Daytona to see one of those cars competions.
The last spot would be a small town with open people where you can learn a bit of American Culture.
I have to say that there are lot's of cities and town that I wanna know I would like going to Philadelfia, Washington, Seattle, Detroid, Chicago and some others.
Hey Sweet Sandra,
It is cold now overthere, how about Miami, is nice now, we can meet there in the airport and after that will go to Orlando by plane too.
Sandra, you should stop at the Front Desk, and ask them, "I would like to see the Statue of Liberty tomorrow. Can you help me?" They will tell you how to take a bus or a subway (much cheaper than a cab) to the ferry that takes you to Bedloe's Island, where the Statue is located. You can't take a taxi there!
Lucy : I would like to go to Orlando, and visit all the theme parks. I love roller coasters, and also I would like to go to the Everglades and see alligators. I would like to visit NASA, and, of course I would like to swim in Miami Beach, in the Atlantic Ocean.
I will arrive by plane, do you have other interesting things to do around there? :)
OK , Let's start with Sweet Sandra. You are staying in a hotel in New York City. You want to see the Statue of Liberty.
The first thing you should do is ___________
The next thing you should do is ___________
Now, what do you have to do to be standing in front of the Statue of Liberty?
Fantastic idea! I want to see New York City. Even though I only live a few hours from New York I've never been to The Big Apple. I'll check out all of the tourist spots and just enjoy being in a big city for a day or two. While I'm there I'll have to buy a few new outfits so that I can fit in with the crowd. Then I'll probably go home and be happy to be in my pajamas once again!
I'm going to share this post on EC's Facebook page later today, Frank. I think the FB friends will have fun with it.
Cheers,
Tara
