Few days back I watched a movie, "10 things I hate about you". Since I'm poor at understanding American slang, I downloaded English subtitle file for the movie and watched it with subtitles. The story happens in a college.Good movie, just to spend time.
They use a lot of phrases.I understood few like:
'Ran into my boyfriend', means unexpectedly met her boyfriend.
'Ran into my Car', means accidents the car
'What's up' means 'Hi'.
There are many such phrases, I could not get the meaning of many phrases.
It's really difficult to understand informal American language.
