We are gathered from different places and countries. Some of us joined EC while others know nothing about neither their countries nor the language they speak by, though we communicate and build up lots of friendship. The common thing between us is English language.

  How are you all doing? I had a busy time last month, that I missed reading some of your messages on my page and on my EC inbox. I had was given the opportunity to spend a vacation with my family. It's funny to say, that I didn't even bother to use the internet and my cellphone for days.  English is an international language. Now a days nobody can denies its importance in our daily life. But as a non-English speaker I don't have enough fluency in speaking English. I am trying to achieve that goal. But it seems to me my speed is not good enough. somebody advice me to communicate with others.But I don't have friends like that. Barra do Corda is a small town located in the middle of the State of Maranhão. It has two rivers: Corda and Mearim. They join themselves in the middle of the town, where there are some bars. Here there are waterfalls, too.

Carnival here is very joyfull and peaceful. Many people from many parts of the coutry comes to here. In february Barra do Corda is full of tourists. I like very much my town.

This is the first time Iparticipate in EC Writing Challenge, I want to say a few words about it.

First of all, I want to thank Ms Tara for everything she does! It was very interesting, I read again about countable and uncountable nouns, I learnt news uncountable ones, and I tried to mobilize them in this writing exercice.

By the way, I like the idea of writing a letter. I chose my friend Martin from Slovakia. Martin will not be here befor tomorrow evening. I hope this letter will be a nice surpris

A countryside holiday

Have you ever been to the northern Vietname?

  As you know, I was born in a small village near a sea in the northern Vietname. My hometown has coast spreading about twenty kilomets. The beach is beautiful, the life is quiet and peaceful, people have tough lives, but they are funny and friendly...

I have a holiday for 2 weeks here for the lunar new year. I was very fun so met my parents, relative, old friends and  teachers...

To find this button, make sure you have popped out of chat first.This will make the chat room window bigger. 

After you pop out, you can see the names of the people you are chatting with in the main room and in private rooms. Click on a name to see the drop down menu. Choose Ignore.

Why would you need to "Ignore" chatters in the MyEC chat room? 

• They are using abusive language.
• They are communicating in a language

     February is a love month as they say. It is Valentines Day. A holiday for every couples or lovers where in they express their love  by presenting flowers, offering gifts, cards, etc. Truly, a very romantic day.
