To My EC friends,
How are you all doing? I had a busy time last month, that I missed reading some of your messages on my page and on my EC inbox. I had was given the opportunity to spend a vacation with my family. It's funny to say, that I didn't even bother to use the internet and my cellphone for days. I wanted to experience the real essence of stress-free life and savor every moment that I had. Could you live for days or weeks without using the net or mobile phones? Having a nice scenery far from where I usually live, gave me comfort. I discovered that milk and tea can be a good combination for breakfast even though coffee is normally part of my morning.
I enjoyed the travel going to our province. Is the province a counterpart of a country? A term where we usually see mountains, beaches, and forests. I bet there are advantages and disadvantages living in a province. But, what I loved the most was the fresh air, especially the scent of rice fields that we passed by going to our provincial home. Unlike in the city, where you could experience different kinds of pollution.
I'm thankful to be a part of this month's writing challenge, the Uncountable Nouns. I noticed, a lot of members took the time to join this topic. That's a huge achievement for EC. Courage allowed me to join this time. Besides that, I missed doing art too!
Indeed, this year has a wonderful beginning. New members keep signing in everyday. It only means, that more and more people are interested to be abreast with their English. I must say with enthusiasm and determination, we can all achieve our goals in EC.
Thank you for reading this post! May our friendship continues for many years. Until my next blog. Goodbye....
Your EC friend,
Robbie
P.S.
Some people find "patient" and "patience" confusing. What's the difference between the two words?

Hi Mr. Bob,
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post! You are very much invited to visit my country. I'll be glad to tour you around! : ) I agree with you, it's such a breeze to smell the rice fields. I'm living in a city, too! With different types of pollution, how I wish I could teleport straight away to the greenery to have that fresh air. Lol!
Have a fantastic time!
Regards,
Robbie
Everyone should have such a nice vacation. I haven't smelled the rice fields for many years and can relate to your enjoyment. Maybe I will smell the rice fields in your country some day. It is much better than smelling pollution in cities :)
Hi Nishank Kalank,

Hi Ma Nu Nu,

I like your vacation. If you will interest these vacation,I invite you in our country. You can feel the scent of rice field. And our country has a fresh air that you loved.I will give you the difference between "patient" is adjective and " patience"is noun.
Hi Ario,
Thank you very much for you comment. Yes, I agree with you. Technology has been improved a lot and made our lives better. But sometimes we're amazed with it that we tend to forget old ways in keeping in touch, like sending a hand-written letter to a friend instead of sending email. Maybe it's just a matter of balance on everything.
Well, you took the time to answer my question about a province. Yes, it depends on a place. There's a province that has main city or town. How about this sentence which I read in a magazine? "I would prefer to live in a country than in a city because of less pollution". I think a country here is not referring to a nation but a field. You're right too, province is also a state. Thanks again for your participation. : )
Hi Anele,
It would be alright. I'll patiently wait for your serious answer.
Yase is it true your a patient?
Hi Spring,
