Lost

After almost a year of being away from MyEC, I started missing it.  But now that I'm back, I feel lost and uncomfortable.  Strangely enough, even after couple of hours of wandering here and there, it seems like I still couldn't find my way around.  The site appears to have changed a lot.  And there's just so many unfamiliar names.  Most of my old friends seem to have disappeared from MyEC as well.

But just like the old days, I only wish to be of good help to other members again, especially the be

What are your true motives here "PEOPLE"

I've been a good standing member of English Club for about six months (I've never been banned). Joking around in our main chat room simply "makes my day". Through all of that funny humor, I've made many "true international friends"... Those special bonds that have been forged over time, trial, and error. What I'm about to write may offend some of you and I really don't care!!! It was composed and written with plenty of humor and combined with a darker comedic undertone.

A few days ago, Sofia posted

The Father and His Sons

A father had a family of sons who were perpetually quarreling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks. When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it. 2346507518?profile=originalHow were your holidays? Did you all enjoy yourselves? I enjoyed myself. My children enjoyed themselves too! They got a new karaoke machine for Christmas. My daughter always sings to herself in the shower, so my husband thought it would be a fun idea to buy her some microphones and a singing machine. Now he is kicking himself. I myself thought it was a good idea for a gift. I never thought about how loud it might be to have a karaoke machine in the basement. We have no one to blame but ourselves.
