I’d love to be one of those writers who can write a thousand words a day, every day.

Scratch that. I’d love to be a writer who can write FIVE thousand words a day, especially if they were all brilliant words.

Then, last week at my day job, I had a revelation that helped me see my inconsis

I've spent most of my leisure time here on MyEC since I joined this fantastic community two years ago. I've written dozens of blogs and most of them were featured here.

I still remember how excited when my blog was featured for the first time. The blog Native English Speakers' Blogs was a success and actually became a discussion about native speakers' roles (especially those of native English teachers) in helping learners learn English on MyEC. The blog got 92 comments and was at the top of the

Why do I need your help? I will be going to a conference for English teachers next week. The conference is called IATEFL and it will be held in England. At the conference I will be speaking about blogging with MyEC learners. I'm hoping that some of the teachers will be inspired to join MyEC (or any blogging community) with th

How MYEC Blogging Helped me!

I have been blogging for two years on MYEC and I am going to share how it affected both my English and my spiritual aspect of my life:

My very first blog and the first reaction to it!

I wrote my very first blog on 22 of May, 2008 at 14: 26 pm. I described my first trip to majestic Niagara Falls and put it on a website in which English teachers would correct it. My first writing was full of mistakes and I put it here exactly the way I wrote it with all the errors. You would be surprised how many

I’d like to talk about something that’s been on my mind for a while – the way novels written by, for, and about women are often dismissed as being harmful, demeaning or stupid. The first female brain surgeon I ever came across was the heroine of a romance novel. I was twelve, and the idea of a woman being a brain surgeon was such a revelation that I remember it twenty years later.Looking back, I have no idea why I thought women couldn’t be brain surgeons. I’d always had female pediatricians, dent
