They need opportunity

Recently I have observed a new perspective in movies. It was always like there were some nice people against those who were the bad guys.  The good ones were always good and the bad ones were always bad. It was like they were born to be villain. The new perspective in movies tries to see positive and negative features in villains. They would act so differently if they had a chance; I meant the chance of being good. When the villains are not blamed for everything wrong, when they are treated well

V is for Varoufakis!

The Greeks surprised the European polibureaucracy in Brussels by letting the people speak—an outrageous dose of democracy from a country said to have been its birthplace! And the (now ex-) Finance Minister of Greece was largely to be thanked for it, much to the annoyance of the European elites who are trying to bail out the bankstersThis article shows Varoufakis in an unusual and amusing light:

Namaz - Salah - Prayer

We Muslims have been commanded by Allah to offer essential (Fardh) prayers (Namaz – Salah) five times a day. (Unfortunately many of us now-a-days do not take it seriously).  These five essential prayers are offered at fixed times.  Fajr ( before dawn), Zohar (after mid-day, just after noon), Asr (starts in the beginning of evening and remains till sunset), Maghrib (just after sunset) and Isha, (after one and a quarter hour after sunset, remains till before dawn).  These five salah are preferably

Hi again, everyone.

Today I'm gonna open you a famous mountain district called "Kazbegi" that is situated on the north of Georgia. The total distance from surface to Kazbegi + Gergeti Church is around 3 500 m (as the driver told me). Just imagine how high you sit and observe this planet :)))

As usual, all photos are taken by me (and movie is made by me) but I decided to make a short photo-movie in order to make it bright and interesting. Watch it first and love Caucasian mountains as I love them

Hello, guys!)

I'm currently in Georgia traveling around beautiful places so I'm gonna share with you useful tips and my impressions that can help you if you go there! (as usual, all photos are taken by me. I made a movie for you. You can watch it in the end of this blog).

So my first stop in Georgia was Tbilisi - the capital city and a very interesting place.

I arrived to the National airport where you can get to the city by train, bus #37 (I wouldn't recommend) and taxi (I preferred). Need to sa

Does Valentine Day still matter to me?  I'm not sure how to answer this.

There's no one special to spend this day with.  I'm now single.  A widow.

But, somehow, I'm still tickled when February comes.  The many commercial advertisements tickled me.  Why?  Because, there many novelties now to receive and  to give gift to.  The new flower arrangements tickled my heart and longing come again. The old songs and music bring romantic memories alive again.  The mouth watering chocolate candies just irresi

Last week the US Supreme Court approved gay marriage (https://edition.englishclub.com/listening-news/2015-06-30/), a great decision in order to build a better society.

It has not been an easy fight, but I feel proud because it is a proof that society is becoming more liberal, more equal.

Let people marry who they want, it´s not our bussiness, how could gay marriage harm the society??

I´d like to know your opinion. Have a nice day.

There are 2 seasons here in the Philippines, Summer & Rainy. Because of the geographical  location on the planet, the Philippines  has a "Tropical Rain forest Climate" all over the country.

Since when I was a kid I am afraid of typhoon. When the period June - October came, it's raining cats and dogs! Now it's June, a typhoon will come in just an hour. I am meeting more typhoon again. From June to October it is expected of rainfalls, it might be heavy or light rain with some thunder & storms.I fe

A wail

I should have been taken the heed so that I would not have been taken for a ride by her who put me on public trial.  I had taken a fancy that she was honest in her love and respect the dignity of her beloved. But the stock taken by me was shattered.  I should have taken off the world and hid somewhere before the matter of her so-called love of her had taken a turn for the worst. But now I have to take the bull by the horns or take it on the chin.  At the moment, I am very dejectedly taking

Word Play : Idioms on "take"

Take the plunge if you take a fancy on something,

take off and  take stock in your gifts, take heed so you won’t be taken for a ride

if  things take a turn for the worst, take the bull by the horns and take it on the chin

Take heart for soon luck will take a hint and take the edge off your problems

Once in a while take a backseat and take things in stride

and when the time is ripe...

take the world by storm... then... take a bow!

Meaning:  Take the plunge: to do something decisive

Best

What do we need from a friend?  What kind of person could be your friend? If I can choose my friend, I want a person with good manner, kindhearted and good looking. Cheer up my days and support whatever I do –as long as it’s good off course-. What can I do? I can’t choose my friend, neither me nor my friends choose. They become my friends because they meant to be. There was a saying “show me your friend and I can tell who you are” –to be honest I got this from Mishaikh’s blog-. I’ll show you my

Expectation

Never keep expectation from others

because expectation just teach us to be sorry on others,

we tells them bad by keeping expectation

because we expect from them, when they do not fulfill our expectation,

then we got hurt-ed and  and feel sad...

but think for a while whether we should blame them for not fulfilling our expectation or

we should blame our-self for keeping expectation from them.

Expectation always disappoint us, hurt us and make us to be feel sorry on others..

The things we get without expec

WALKER'S WRITING CHALLENGE: MYSELF

Before I get started, let me begin by saying how good it is to once again have the time to chat and post with my good friends here. EC has always been a great source of personal inspiration. The chance to watch and experience new learners grow into linguistic proficiency is amazing and something I wish more of my fellow countrymen would take the time to do.

Here's ten things in no particular order that come to mind when thinking of MYSELF. The subject matter may vary from personal philosophy to m

Moving House

Moving or "Moving House" is something that many people do in their lifetime. I know many people are born and die in the same house, but in the modern world we may have to move for our jobs or to be near family members who moved.

I have moved many times, but it never gets easier and it never is any fun. If you have had to pack up and move to a new place you may understand why I don't enjoy moving. These are some of the steps that I don't enjoy.

1. Packing - carefully putting your things in boxes an

Positive and negative sides

I am damn sure someone will want to strangle me after reading it, some may do agree! Well, I am going to say something about last month's writing challenge.

To begin with, I must  say  the positive sides of it.

1. This  writing challenge motivated us to write more.

2. We tried to think more, did brain storming, found various topics to write blogs.

3. After getting this challenge, we got many new bloggers who did not write before or was not more active in blogging.

4. It is unnecessary to say again th

Why Blogging in a Community is Better than Blogging Alone

For me blogging alone is barren. You have no comments, corrections, suggestions, ideas, discussing. After all, your writing production is  static. Community is like a paradise in a dry desert for who likes to make the most of all advantages of blogging.

Community blogging makes you enlarge your idea's range or just choose what to write  by inspiring in other member's blogs. When you're in an active group, you start noticing what readers
