Hello! When I read this writing challenge, automatically the word “philotimo” came in my mind. I didn’t invent it. It is a real Greek word and it is not translated in English. So I translate it exactly as I see it. Philohonor.

Philohonor | noun | / fəˈläˈänər /

Philohonor is a word that exists from the ancient years and only in Greek language. It is noun, and it comes from two Greek words: philos (filos) which means friend and honor. Literally it means “friend of honor” but practically, philohonor

CAN WE LIVE ALONE IN THE WORLD?

It seems that people have trained their mindset to live alone within their own shells by simply forgetting/ignoring what is really going on in the outer world. A larger number of people across the planet believe that making money is the one and only activity assigned for them in this world, so from morning to midnight, they run fast behind money ignoring other issues in the world. In such a world, everyone is more or less isolated to some extent, and as a result, the risk around every person has

For the first time ever, the 'Oxford Dictionaries Word of the Year' is not a word... but an emoji! How weird is that??    And the award goes for one particular emoji: the 'Face with Tears of Joy'!  As you can see, it's very happy for this:

tears-of-joy-emoji.png

The Oxford Dictionaries' blog says that this emoji was chosen as "the 'word' that best reflected the ethos, mood, and preoccupations of 2015"  (more info here)
I feel that the Oxford Dictionaries guys are being kind of sarcastic here. Looking around us, I can'

" why didn't you reply me, my dear? I was worried about you....please ...please... please reply me, I'm waiting impatiently"

I touched the "send" button and the message hovering in the middle of the night....such a memorable evening, which has been run for months.

The nights that always reminds me to her loving eyes, the smile as sweet as cotton candy

the love messages skyrocketed and flashed in the air...sometimes the message brings smiles, sometimes anger, sometimes sweet sometimes slightly bitte

City of Lights

2347157923?profile=original

Dear France,

Millions of people were in state of shock and sorrow when they heard the news about the terror attacks in your breath-taking city of lights - Paris.

You are one of the nations that never cease to give assistance whenever someone is in need. It's evident how you've supported my country especially during the onslaught of calamities. Who would have thought those ruthless killings could happen to your remarkable city? A city with rich culture, art, and fashion. Is this the price you've pa

Have you also noticed a new trend of this hectic era? Why to spend time outside in the nature? People lost their minds and prefer hanging around at the malls on the weekends. You can see the teenagers, families with the kids, or single ladies. I doubt, if there exists a word for this special human kind (maybe shopaholic but I find it a bit different). My word might be rude because it is a mixture of the words Mall and Idiot, however I really despise this habbit, so that's why I spiced it up by m

suddencognition ∣noun∣/sʌdnkɔg’niʃən/

You use this word to describe a case: when you suddenly realize something after you have tried to get it for a long time. For example, you've learned English since you were little, but not until recently did you begin to know how to use English 'tenses' correctly. Another example: when you suddenly realized what life you really need to live.

Example sentence: It's wonderful to have the feeling of suddencognition

Condolences to the World.

The day we (as a human race) start giving the same importance to ANY death in the world... that day we will truly be one race. My thoughts are with the people in France; but also with the people in Lebanon, the people in Syria, the people in Sudan, Nigeria, Iraq... and EVERYWHERE WHERE INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE UNJUSTLY DYING.

43 people died in Beirut the same Friday 13th... and I didn't see the same amount of condolences (not even half) for them.  200 kids were brutally killed in Syria and it was show

WHY DO YOU NEED COURAGE?

Good evening, everyone.

This is my blog #50. A small anniversary for me and my fingers. So I want to dedicate it to one question - "Why do you need courage"?

nenudi.net_000013.jpg

Before we find the best answer on this question let's ask additional questions:

- Do you need courage to fight for your freedom?

- Do you need courage to survive in a modern society?

- Do you need courage to have arguments about your salary with your boss?

- Do you need courage to wear a mini - skirt?

- Do you need courage to upload your photo

Writing Challenge: Invent a Word

2347153432?profile=originalHave you ever tried to think of a word for something, and then realized no perfect word existed? This happened to me today! I realized that I am not currently reading a book that I am really into. When I am reading a book that I am really excited about, I have a special feeling or glow, even when I'm not reading it. One man described it as being in book love. Does that make sense to you? I'm not in book love right now, so something feels missing.

This thought made me think of those great lists of

What would you like to be?

We usually heard it when we were child. Sometimes our parents asked us about this topic. But it is difficult to reach our goals when we are younger. Because usually we have to work to pay our studies or maybe we have to help with household expenses. However I think we do better the activities that we like more. A few years ago I worked at a hospital in my country like a receptionist. I worked there around three years in this time I learned a lot of things about the activities of a hospital. Also
