The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,

I love this poem by T. S. Eliot, and I've learnt to love cats. The poem is made into a song and is part of the musical "Cats" which is really superb. It proves that great people like T.S.Eliot or A. I don't know about other countries but here in Russia each town and city has a special day, it is called the City's Day or the Town's Day. It is a kind of a birthday. Most cities were founded ages ago, so it is impossible to say on which day the foundation took place. That is why local authorities are somewhat free to choose any day.

Our small city has its birthday on the last Saturday in June.This year (just like the previous) there was a grand celebration. The list of events included exhibition

How I wrote the blog "Watcher"?

It was sometime in January 2015 when I was in USA, I was at my laptop  (it is actually my wife’s laptop, I do not have one, I have desktop), EC was opened and I was browsing the pages.  I saw Honey Bees activities, "Let's discuss: CREATIVE WRITING 10: THE WORLD GOES MAD".  Dean Coonze novel I referred in the blog was also lying on the table, which I had already finished.  I looked at the activity proposed by Honey, then threw a look at the novel and all of a sudden

I wrote this in Honey's 'activities' "Let's discuss: CREATIVE WRITING 10: THE WORLD GOES MAD" sometime back in January when I was in USA. That was extempore. I am posting it here for the reading interest of my EC friends:

WATCHER

It was Sunday, I woke up late, as usual I called my dog, "Watcher, hey boy come on up!" He came up running to my bed, "Hi, MI, good morning at last you woke up!"

I was shocked, and thought that I might be still in sleep and dreaming.

 Sarah and Adam decided to make their wedding on Monday. Adam is very mean. I was not thinking about writing this. Something truly compelled me it is no one else, but your lovely dog Jack. He is really a great dog. I also played with him many times. I know he listens and obeys you.

Frankly speaking, for last one month, he is also annoying my sweet sleeps too You are like my brother mike ! I know nobody like listening bad words about his lovely dog. You are not much aware that he barks a lot at night time,

         Some years ago, I found another way of traveling, yes cruising. Ships use to be so big. This last one I took could harbour 3900 passengers with a crew of 1200 people. The members of the crew are formed by waiters, cleaning service, enterteiners, cooks... and obviously the captain and people in charge to manage the ship. Summing up, they are like "small moving towns" where you can find everything you need;  restaurants, cafes, casino, a cinema room, discotheque, a library, swimming pools

And this also goes for the Cookie Monster :D

This is on the inspiration I got from Alice's Word Play-2 - 'Idioms on the word 'cut'

Sometimes I receive remarks that I always circle around ‘love’, means that the plot of my stories/blogs is always ‘love’ one way or the other.  Of course they don’t intend to cut me down to size, rather they enjoy my writings.  But it is a fact that it is not always easy to cut the mustard.  I do agree with this remark about me, but I do not like to cut myself of the same cloth.  I want to make it my distinction

If you are determined to cut the mustard as a successful businessman in these cut throat times you have to surround yourself with the best in the business. To be considered as someone cut of the same cloth as the bestsellers of the business world is a clear cut way to advance in the ladder of success.

Never underestimate the power of good relationships, cut through the walls of red tape with a well established circle of allies who will cut you some slack in your shortcomings and insufficiencies.

It was a regular commuters train. People rushed to their seats because it stopped for three minutes only and after some time the tumult died down. The passengers started to look around. As most of them took that trip quite often, it was of little interest to look out of the window. They knew the sight of every tree there. So they started to cast sideway glances at other passengers. Muskan gave some words inviting to use them in a story.  Here is my bid to make a short para using these words = nonchalant, coax, placid, whimsical, soporific and rapacious:

I was so nonchalant, took her love so whimsically, and didn’t realize she would turn to be so rapacious and possessive in love that she would not allow me to see or praise any other girl, and put me in public trial to make me realize that I was wrong.  She was so disheartened that even my coaxing could not put her in placid

Tomorrow it will be exactly 3 years since I am a member here :) 

I've become a teacher and worked with many great students during this time. I've had awesome time in group calls on Skype :) 

Now I am offering group classes but for a low fee since it's my only work that I am doing.
