The Past of Humanity

The Past of Humanity

Xuefeng
(translated by Conglong)

The past of humanity is a history of sufferings, a history of fights and conflicts.

The past of humanity is a history of bewilderment, a history of manifestation of animal instincts.

The past of humanity is a history of selfishness, a history of “survival of the fittest”.

The past of humanity is a history of chaos, a history of giants competing for powers, religions competing for position.

The past of humanity is a history of wickedness, a history

My Travel in Time

Well, as it was me who proposed this time travel, it is time to add my story. Thanks to Estanis we have already visited Spain in 1492 trying to prevent the expulsion of non-Christians. Thanks to Luci we have also visited Austria and consulted Dr. Sigmund Freud. We even proposed him to invent some new therapy for some EC members! LOL! As to me, I will take you to Germany in 1876.

Current Crises Faced by Humanity

Current Crises Faced by Humanity

Xuefeng

(Translated by Conglong)

The crises faced by humanity have been long-standing. There had been warnings in Bible, Koran and ‘the Book of Earth Mother’ (地母经) of Buddhism. In the recent twenty years, many scientists, ideologists, and spiritual leaders have all sensed the crises faced by humanity are getting more and more serious. They can be summarized as follows:

Water resource shortages, food shortages, rapid population growth, air pollution, widespread of str

My Nightmares. Part II

My friends, your writing inspire me so much that I can’t help sharing my new nightmares with you! Hahaha! Are you ready? Well, first of all, I will explain the mistakes that made me roll on the floor laughing.

  1. “She was wearing a blue shirt and white pant.” The word "pant" (singular) means short breath when a person breathes with short, quick breaths, typically from exertion or excitement. With the attribute "white" it may mean slight pant from excitement. Hahaha!
  2. To be in blue” means to wear blue

This is my father!

He is my father, very unsocial and carefree.  We are his two kids, a son and a daughter, me.  I know my father loves me more than he loves my brother.  I enjoy this privilege belonging to a daughter loving family.  I have pictures when I was a child, I see myself sometimes in his laps, sometimes riding on him and giggling.  I remember whenever by brother teased me or snatched my toys or color pencils or refuse to do anything asked, I used to phone my father and he always used t

Man is not Born of Original Sin

Man is not Born of Original Sin

Is nature good or evil? This controversial issue which has been debated for thousands of years finally gets answered correctly from Lifechanyuan.

"Good" and "evil" are not the properties of “Nature”, but are “determined by material logic". In other words, when "the material content is achieved through the content of consciousness", there will the distinction between good and evil.

Qiankun Buddha of Lifechanyuan said this:

Having a chance to travel back in time and to meet a historical person would be the best birthday gift to me, however I know, I know, this is just about my imagination… Well, to ask Jesus to show me walking on water wouldn't be a bad idea but I am not sure, if I would give him my hand in case he would start drowning... To meet Giacomo Casanova would be cool but I would be scared of catching some sexual dissease as he was such womanizer! :D To be sincere, I would meet Sigmund Freud – well known p

Generation Meh

"Dad, I have to tell you something, but yaou can't tell mom."

"Okay. What is it?"

"Promise not to tell mom?"

"Promise."

"We're all gonna die."

Fathers and Sons

Wow! Pretty dark for a four-year-old. Don't ya think? Then again, can you blame him? Thirteen-year-old girls say they have "relationship" problems. Relationship problems? You're thirteen for fox sake! The only problem you should have must be your split ends! There are fourth graders who smoke and when you ask 'em why; they bare their teeth at y

Life is so busy now and we forget our health. We do not take care of it. We just care something like how to earn a lot of money, how to get a high score in diploma, how to take a good tour with our friend and something like that. Until one day our health says “I am not good”. Nothing we can do at that time when our health is not better. We cannot work to earn a lot of money, we cannot study to get high score for diploma, and we cannot have a trip with our friend when we do not have a good health

Strange Love

Well this is my first blog here... I already started write blogs since 2012 but I had no courage to publish and let people read it. But now, I find my self enjoy to write and publish it (I would love it if you correct the grammar/vocab). Frankly, I never want to let everybody knows this story but I need your perspective to help me open my mind :)

Love is something that will never run out for discussion. Even the famous people will raise the theme of love for their creation (song, movie, book, etc

Well, I decided to go on explaining the sentence patterns although, to my great surprise and disappointment, almost nobody seems to be interested. OK, let it be EC heritage!

Today I will tell you about a few other patterns. I will start with “It is for you..” as one of the learners tried to use it in her reply and did it incorrectly. So, here is the pattern:

  • It is + for + indirect object + infinitive +……..

This pattern may be followed by the direct object or the clause. Such a sentence means that a

Science and Civilization

Science and Civilization

Religion goes hand in hand with fatuity, while science keeps abreast with civilization.

Science is the activity and knowledge to understand, explore, and interpret the laws of nature, human society, and thinking.

Civilization is a voluntary behavior of man formed on the basis of the correct understanding of material world and nonmaterial world.

Without the development and progress of science, civilization is only an extravagant hope.

The symbol for real civilization is: no

My friends, today I have decided to tell you about a few sentence patterns as I saw such mistakes made by some upper-intermediate students and it is inadmissible because such sentences are commonly used.

The first pattern is

  • It takes (+ indirect object) + time + infinitive

This sentence means a quantity of time usually required for anyone or a particular person to complete a task. We can use the verb in any simple or perfect tense as well as we can use this pattern with some modal auxiliaries. Here

No Title (Only The Story of Mine)

It has been long time, I didn’t post any blogs here (I think almost 2 years, oh my….:D). Often times I missed this chance, but unfortunately I didn’t have any good idea to write it down besides the lack of my time, too. And right now, I have an inspiration from my own experience and want to share it with you. About the title, there was none in my head, the idea of the story was popping up immediately without I knew the correct title I should put here and here we go.

Couple days ago I had small re

Variety is the spice of life .

Hey you!
Yes, you!
I am talking to you...

You are my life
This is not a lie:
I love you!
You've got all the hues;
I should call u a rainbow!

You are a part of me
But sometimes, it seems to me:
You are me!
You are the sky, I am the sea.
You see in me your reflection.
We both exhibit perfection!

When I see you,
I feel fairies smiling at me
Angels sprinkling dewdrops
The sun, the moon and the stars,
The larks, the waters and flowers--
This whole Universe dedicated to me!

You are a blessing for me --
The greatest blessi

When I am depressed

I had been depressed for a month before and after my period. It is so hard to increase my mood. Then I realize I am not alone. My mum and my best friend always cheer me up. I return to my regular routine: writing my blog here if there is wifi.

I don't expect comment but I would appreciate what would you do if you depressed and have no desire???
