“You don’t tell what to do! I won’t take any orders now...” he said with his sarcastic devilish smile, while still holding firm the thin as blade knife against the leaders’ throat. “Red! Magenta! Pink! All of you get outta’ here now!!” he shouted almost in all corners of that hide-out. “Dark, my boy, you know you can do better than this, we’re family.” The junk leader said with the slightest beg and fear in his voice, but still confident. There is no perfect moment than now, Junk leader’s back-u

Polish Christmas Tradition and Customs

Polish customs, especially at Christmas time, are both beautiful and meaningful.

The provisions for Christmas begin many days before the real celebration. Nearly everywhere women are cleaning windows in apartments and houses just before Christmas. The insides of the houses are also cleaned thoroughly. It is believed that if a house is dirty on Christmas Eve, it will remain dirty all next year.

Weather-forecasting is quite popular during Christmas. Everythin

Don't use your mouth to speak

Don't use your mouth to speak

Don't use your mouth to speak
and not your ears to hear.
Don't use your hands to touch
and not your eyes to see.

Try speaking with your eyes
and listen with your mind,
to touch me in my soul
your heart will see me kind.

Your soul speaks to my heart
It listens to its words
your gaze will touch my soul
let fly our souls like birds.

Suffering and Difficulties

Difficulties and suffering sometimes make us miserable and dejected when we have lost hope and faith.  Whatever our suffering and difficulties are never let the complaints come out in dejection.  Instead try to light the lamps within you, the light of hope and faith.  Maybe the worse the situation is the more we make the light shine, it is just to test how strong is our faith in Allah.  This persistence in faith will open the door and you will see the help coming from where we do not even think.

Today in this blog, I would like to share with you, guys, one interesting life story of an eighteen years old girl from the USA. I came across this story yesterday on the Internet and it made me stop and think, how I would react, what I would do, if I were in her shoes. So, let's start from the beggining. Eighteen years ago in Florida, to be more specific in Jacksonville hospital was born a babygirl. Her mom was a black girl, who was just sixteen years old - kinda young mom, right? Anyway, in a

The mulberry tree

She woke up. She slept only few hours. She was so tired from the last night that she was feeling her body dead. She couldn’t open her eyes yet. She felt the nature calling her but she thought that she could sleep a little more. She covered her head with the blanket and tried to take a nap. Impossible. Once she wakes up it is difficult for her to sleep again and she hates that. But she loves staying in bed in the morning, for hours, and that she was going to do. She went to the toilet and she cam

Poem Challenge: My Conscience

My Conscience

It’s hard to talk with you
You have a severe homilophobia

That day, the accident happened
Stressed, froze, and got drowned
Your notation was not aesthetic at all
That natatorium had made you feel bad afterall

Something in you, I never knew
What’s wrong? What’s going on?

I remember our tryst
at the secret rendezvous
I titivated myself just to see you
But you never came

With the smell of petrichor
I went home lackadaisically while the TV on
Who cares about Anastasia Nikolaevna
She’s not a

Blog Challenge: Memory of MyEC 2016

The year of 2016 was started without Tara Benwell's presence in this wonderful site, MyEC. I was wondering how this site would run without her writing challenges or her encouragement for new members. Although her activities were not that much, she came once to thrice a week, but this beautiful admin always left good atmosphere here. The bloggers seemed quite thrilled to write various topics of blogs.

If you see the list of monthly archives on blog section, the number of blog from January to Decem

Meet my pet: Peeve! III

Betcha you're more than familiar with password restrictions. Granted, it's for our "safety" and everything, but I can only take so much! You're telling me my password should contain:

A capital letter (preferably in bold and italic)

An imaginary number

A spell to trap a leprechaun

A vial of fairy dust

An Enochian letter (more than one is safer, though.)

A monogram and a voodoo chanting?

Come onnnnnn!

Dear website security system - hell-bent on "protecting" me:

The next time I decide to buy a froyo online

My Ideal House

2347373040?profile=originalDo you like to live in a palace or a house? I'd prefer to live in a big house with lots of furniture just like an apartment or a boarding house because I can't live by myself and 2 cats.

I love my house even though it is small but comfortable.

What abput you? Which room do you like to spend time there?

I'd prefer my library in front of a fire place, sipping a green tea milk and choco chips biscuits made by a bakery.

I want to have a coffee table and games room someday...
