Dear Navedoo

Fancy seeing your letters again, because I haven't talked to you for yonks. First of all I should ask for your forgiveness ; As you know it's all about time, but for sure I will call round sooner.

I can't tell you when I remembered this history that was one of my selcouth Diaglyphs, I was like :"I'm done up like dog's dinner". At that day, I had prepared a shopping list with beef, cheese and some meat. I still have the image of your disenchanted face looking absolutely stunning. Wel

Writing Challenge: Uncountable Nouns

Dear EC,

First of all thanks and congratulations to you for taking a place in my favourite websites list ! It was a time when I searched and went through many websites for improving my English skills. Do you know that most of the members who visit you become your fans and love you. Do you know that if I write history about SN, you would be at the top. It's my luck to see myself as a star member among all your superstars & starts. The information, knowledge, news and all the things I'm getting f

Dear Ultimate,

In response to Tara's writing challenge about uncountable nouns, I am writing this letter to you depicting a fiction story about an incident, that might test your patience.

Do I need to mention the time when you were caught shop lifting at a store. I did not know what had gotten into you. Your conduct was dubious from the beginning of the day as you came out of your house dressed as an Eskimo while I was pondering how hot the weather was.

Since the heat was unbearable, we got into a

I wanted to join this month Writing Challenge, but I was confused to whom I should write a letter. Luckily, one of my dear friends, Surawan apparently also wanted to join this challenge. She asked me to write a letter for her.

Dear Ann,

I'm glad to hear news that the flood in Thailand is over now. I was shocked when you told me for the first time about the flood. I was sad to imagine how much damage your country was suffering during the flood. I can't imagine if I were you and needed to be evacu

2346353014?profile=originalWelcome to the first Writing Challenge of 2012! This year we will be focusing on some specific problems that I noticed in your writing in 2011. Each month I will challenge you to become an expert in a certain aspect of the English language.

This month we are going to work on uncountable nouns. Do you ever catch a friend using the word  informations? What about the word advices? These are not English words. Information and advice are uncountable nouns. They don't have plural forms and we treat the

Actually everyone, not only me, we were all got shocked...

Then the next thing we did, After we were able to control ourself,  was trying to find out its feature and trying to get accustomed with that. It was fun to explore this new look. There are some useful things such as "Ignore" button so you can ignore people whom you do not wish to talk to on your private room.

Hi. everybody!

Want to tell you a few words about our (my and my girlfriend's) trip to Phuket, the famous island and resort of the country of Thailand. It's lying 800 km south of Bangkok and it's very popular among Russian tourists thanks to its numerous beaches, rich nightlife and wonderful nature. We began our trip with 8-hour train-moving to Moscow. It's rather weird, but it's much more exprensive to fly directly from Saint-Petersburg to Phuket, than from Moscow, so we decided to visit our ca

My trip to America - Part 1

I just returned this week from a trip to America.  My wife and I went there to see our daughter graduate from university.  This is a photo of her about the time she started going to the university.

2346339161?profile=original I also went home to see my family and friends.  I will tell about that part of the trip later.

I started my trip in Jeddah, KSA.

From there, my wife and I flew to New York City.

We got to see two of my wife's sisters while we were waiting all day for our plane to Texas. Here is my wife and her sisters

I have just changed my profile photo (avatar) - this is the first time I've ever changed it!

I bet you are already familiar with my old avatar, and some of the members here (like anele) may not really want me to change it. I don't think it's a good idea to change one's profile photo frequently, but it's quite acceptable to change it from time to time. Actually, some of the members have suggested I change it. I never changed the photo because I think it may make it hard for other members to easily

My English Club Adventures 2011

Hi! I'm Robbie, am a proud member of MyEC. Since this year is coming to an end, let me share to you some of my activities that I had accomplished from being an active member. I considered them as my adventures of learning.

  • I uploaded my videos.

Making a video about learning English wasn't an easy task. It took me a lot of guts, hard work, and determination to have one. The Learning English Video Contest 2011 inspired me to share my ideas about blogging. Though I didn't get the prize, I'l
