This is a short video of when the Olympic Torch passed by my house today.
It was an exciting day, lots of people lined the route. It was a sunny day and everyone there seemed to enjoy themselves.
I hope the video works on here!

Last 27th May 2012 was my twin cutes nephews first year birthday. We had a simple celebration for my nephews, some close relatives come to say happy birthday to my beloved nephews. We had a "Akikahan" on that day (it's Islamic tradition). After "Akikahan" my sister in low brought the cake out and we sang Happy Birthday' song together. We all were really happy, even my twin nephews really happy too. When we clap our hands while sang Happy Birthday's song together they clap their hands happily too
This is amazing coke ever! I love it ;)
Tastes? It may be slightly different from Coca-Cola, but I can't tell the difference exactly. Yeah, it doesn't matter. This is a dream bottled coke! Because...

Of which a new dawn heads

Being one of the Proditors of MyEC, now returned and repentant, I considered it to be my duty to post a reply to Mr.Bob's blog post "Where Have They Gone? We Still Love Them!" There should be millions of valid and justified reasons for Them to leave MyEC...not understood unless experienced. Based on my shrewd personal observations I hereby reveal the mystery of Gone.To perceive and comprehend all Their reasons for abandoning the family one should learn and discern the Types of "Proditors" of MyE
Today I am handing my blog over to a long-term member of MyEC. This guest post is for #ELTChat's May Blog Challenge. #ELTChat is a twitter group for English language teachers. Once in a while, we challenge each other to blog on a specific topic. This month, I presented the blog challenge: My Learning English Journey: Invite a Learner to your Blog. I was inspired by Beyza, a teacher in Turkey who had invited a student to write a guest post on her blog. When I thought about who I would invite to m

Some people like to collect stamps. I like collecting quotes! Some give me insight and some make me relaxed and remind me of having fun and being free. I thought maybe this benefits my friends as it did to me.
Here are some of them:

Do you have a mole (birthmark) on your face? :D :D Confused ?? Don't worry, just kidding. Do you know? With my birth,I got a little birthmark on my face, but I didn't worry about that until I grow up. One day , I saw an article which wrote about celebrities (stars) Some of them became stars because of their mole, and I noticed most of them have even one mole on their faces. At once, I remembered my birthmark which on my face so at that time, I thought, one day I would be a star because I have a
Hello everyone, in this learning English resource I would like to recommend some of practical websites and videos online. Okay, let's start from Daily English Dictation, which is the one I learned from our EC newsletter, is a program on YouTube based on American accent. On each section, it gives one or two simple or difficult sentences from news, movies or everywhere, and then you would have four times of pause to write down what you hear for dictation. Then, the correct answer would be given

Hi everyone! Have you noted that what those white spots are on the mountain? Those are what we call tung blossoms (also known as paulownia flower). This beautiful sight is the second major highlight of the year for flower lovers in Taiwan after cherry blossom season. Thousands of visitors go to hill and forest in April and May to see the blossoms up close. My friends and I have no exception. We went to the neighboring areas and took numerous pictures of them the other day.
What makes them esp
You may know the story of the old man who had two sons long ago.
The sons decided that they wanted their inheritance right away so the father divided his property between them. One son stayed at home and worked to increase his property and help his father.
The other son went far away and wasted his money on many things and did not find ways to increase it. After years passed he had no money and only the clothes on his back. So, he came home to his family.
The father welcomed his son who had been lo
Dear MyEC Members,
Today I have a special request! We need a few volunteers to help out in the MyEC Video Gallery. As I mentioned a few months ago, the video gallery needs to be cleaned up! I truly believe that this space has great potential. Videos such as this one and this one can be very useful for practising English.
Nadiyah has done an excellent job with the MyEC Photo Gallery. Most photos on MyEC have appropriate titles. They often have descriptions and tags, too. Nadiyah comes up with int
Sunday is often called "The day of rest", stemming from the Bible, it is a day when most people do not have to go to work. Some Christians still observe it as a rest day, but not all. It doesn't make anyone any less religious nor does it open them up for condemnation, because they don't rest, it's just the way things have evolved. It is a family day usually, but not always.
My Sundays are different every week. I like the times when I have somewhere to vist, or when someone is visiting me; I also
Early this year, I was able to experience one of the most celebrated festivals in my country. It's the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival.
The Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival is held every third week of January in the town of Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. This is celebrated to honor the Holy Child Jesus Christ. Local people call him, "Sr. Sto. Nino". It is common for devotees and tourists to carry icons and replicas of the holy child. Just like what I'm holding on some of my photos.
I got the idea to write this after I read Tara's blog:I don't Know What to Blog: Blog Topic Ideas. I'm going to tell you about the most dangerous sentence I've ever written. And the sentence would embarrass me if people had a chance to read it.
I have a blog on one of user generated content websites for almost a year now. My reason to have a blog on the website is as a direct test to my writing ability. It has wide range of readers from native English readers and non-native English readers. I wan
