Yesterday, on April 26, it was the 25th anniversary of  Chernobyl catastrophy. It seems to be the saddest anniversary in  mankind's history. Every year this day reminds me of the tragedy which can never be forgotten. About 500 thouthand people died the same year. Ukrainian population reduced from 52 to 47 million. I decided to write this blog because twenty five years ago the world was witness maybe the worst nuclear disaster in its history. I don´t remember the accident (I was only five years old); the first time I heard about Chernobyl I was twelve, and four years later I read the book "Chernobyl: el fin del mito nuclear" by Santiago Vilanova.

There are many stories, myths, rumors and truths behind the catastrophe, but the most important thing is to prevent another Chernobyl disaster.
