Each Paragraph should begin with a topic sentence. It is a general statement that tells the reader what this paragraph is about and what the controlling idea is. Here are some photos I took in Brussels - Belgium, the capital of my country but also of the European Union. The "Grand Place" (big square) is said to be the one of the most beautiful square of the world. I don't know if it is true, but whenever I go there, I am breathless in front of those amazing gothic style buildings. Since 1998, it is a UNESCO World heritage site. If you look closely to these photos, you will see that those wonderful buildings were made with stone lace.
